So many things I love about this. I love that you made it your own. You pour so much into your family. Truly Tom is a blessed man to have such a talented wife. Honestly, you never cease to amaze me. I watch every video several times in case I miss something. All 5 of my kids can’t wait for baby Hannah.
Thank you for this video. I need to see a blanket just like this for some girls at our church to match ones already made for their graduation. I sure appreciate the instructions and the love. God bless you all.
Watching this now is so sad, but little Hannah has this video to show her one of the ways her mama loved her so. I have a grandson coming soon and I knew that Andrea would have a good tutorial on something I could make him.
So exciting I love making my babies things when in the womb and picturing little baby in it😍❤️😍 you are so blessed to live by your own standards and not by other people’s your truly living the life. It’s truly beautiful when you can live without fear and disappointment all the time . I think more people would have large families if they lived according to their hearts and not fears. Love love love the blanket too so cozy especially when little Hannah gets to snuggle up in it😊
I've got my material and thread and I'm all ready to try this out. Thank you so much for the tips that I did not know. Making 2 blankets for 2 baby showers coming up next month.
My favorite baby blankets I made from flannel exactly the same as you make your fleece. My girls still use as car lap blankets the ones I received as a gift from a friend who sewed large rickrack in the seam when she sewed the two fabrics together.
This is the first video that popped up for what I typed in and I was so happy because I actually have the same fabric as the fuzzy pink one and wasn't sure how to sew it. Thanks
That’s a pretty sewing machine! I haven’t seen that model by Singer before, and I love the black color on it. Very comfy looking project! Faux fur is so hard for me to work with, but you make it look easy.
How do you like your new sewing machine? Hannah's blanket is so cute. Love how Solomon is about everything regarding Hannah. He is going to be an awesome big buddy
@@TheMillsFamilyVlog hello, watching your video on making the baby blanket for Hannah ! I am shopping for a new sewing machine and I love this one ...can you share where you found it? I want to stay with SINGER.
@@TheMillsFamilyVlog Thank you for your reply. I fell in love with Andrea and from this video just went searching for more of her videos and realized she became ill and passed away. My heart goes out to you and your beautiful family. There are no words to say just know that in a few short minutes she became for me a beautiful soul God allowed me to love. I will be watching her videos as it is clear she will bring me joy and help me with my sewing and other important things. ✝️💕🤗
Luv this !! Thank u for sharing! Also luv your singer machine!! It didnt seem like you had any problem with these fabrics. You mentioned a longer stitch length but didnt say what you used or why?
This is Andreas husband. Andrea passed away 2 years ago, and I don’t know anything about sewing…but I can tell you I bought her the machine, it was a nice retro model…she loved it, pretty, and functional…just like her.
What a special blanket for a precious baby girl! I would like to try this myself and have one question - when you do the final stitching all around, are you sewing far from the edge so that you are going through 2 layers of fabric, or closer to the edge so that you are going through 4 layers (created by the previous stitching all around)?
I was looking for this because I don't like the fringes, in the face of a baby or anyone else. The Fringe looks cute but not so practical. Thank You 🕊️
any tips on what todo to keep the2 pieces of fabric from seperating from each other like in the washing machine? I have made bigger blankets with both fleece and plush fleece like you used here. I also used a satin binding ribbon the the edges as well. but can't seem to figure out how to keep them flat with the other. Also i am currently trying to use a very stretchy polyester fabric i believe with the plush fleece and the stretchy fabric is moving to much even when i use clips and pins. any suggestions??
Andrea passed away 3 years ago, but I can tell you that she sewed little spots around the center of the blanket that keeps it all together. It is now like 4 years old and countless washes and stays together fine! Hopefully that's some help to you.
My other machine was a Brother. It's still a great machine; the only reason for the new machine was because it was just so beautiful! I saw it and fell in love with it so Tom secretly bought it for me for Christmas. My Brother is in the attic; I'm going to let the girls use it. I was very happy with my Brother, too.
I have a question about the sewing machine, the light looks blue in color, is it LED? My sewing machine is about 12 years old so it has the old incandescent bulb. Also wondering if the blue color affects how clearly you can see what you"re doing?

Gorgeous blanket, but the best part about it is all the love you put into it! Baby Hannah is so lucky! Love to all!
How lovely ! My son is 4 months already. These videos remind me what a blessing he and all babies are :) thank you for the lesson.
I absolutely adore that solid pink material! It looks like little velvety roses to me.
I used your Instruction & made 3 toddler blankets as a beginner! Thank you so much!!

It's so fun watching you "feather" baby Hannah's nest! Can't wait to see her wrapped up in this beautiful blankie
Such a good color combo. That blanket looks so comfy!

You do such a great job at making stuff. The blanket is pretty.
The blanket looks like it would be nice and snuggly!
Oh, your sewing machine! I am very much in like with it... This blanket is so sweet. I forget all the things one can make for babies.
This is the first video that popped up for what I typed in and I was so happy because I actually have the same fabric as the fuzzy pink one and wasn't sure how to sew it. Thanks
A good middle name would be Grace. Its my middle name and I love it!Hannah Grace Mills has a nice ring to it!

Andrea would have loved that! THis blanket is still her favorite, and now that Andrea has passed away, it is quite a keepsake :)

I love grabbing the fabric on sale at wal mart when ever I head there, can make some cut patch work blankets with them
Very pretty looks like pink rose bushes😊
Pretty blanket💕 love watching your videos 💕💕
Very pretty. Such a sweet, relaxing, video.
So cute! Thank you!! Going to make one tonight 💖
Beautiful blanket
You should do a day in the life of Andrea!
I sure do miss seeing you in videos.🥺
So beautiful 😍
Lots of love from Michigan
Hannah has a sweet mommy to make her all these beautiful things.

So far it seems really nice; I haven't done anything fancy with it, but it sews really smoothly. Plus, it's just so pretty! :)

I got it at Joann for Christmas one year it is a Heritage 8768. She loved it.

Love that fabric!
What a pretty blanket
Do you make doll blankets with leftover blanket material at all or do you save it for other projects?
What a special blanket for a precious baby girl! Mostly it's just because I like the way it looks, but it's also easier to sew if you're only going through two layers rather than 4.
Oooo looks so cosy xxxxx

Love the sewing machine.
I like using a surger (spelling?) for this stuff. Have you tried one?
Do you have to use a certain type of thread when sewing fleece? Sorry, I'm new to sewing and don't know much!
very nice. Where do buy your fabric?

beautiful blanket
Instead of hand stitching you can use fabric glue and then when you go back around it catches it all
Very nice blanket. What are the measurements please? Thank you.
Beautiful
It's beautiful was your other sewing machine a singer too? I bought myself a brothers

I'm having problems with bunching when I sew the pieces together, even when I pin the fabric together. How do you keep your fabric from bunching?
Beautiful!
I have a question about the sewing machine, the light looks blue in color, is it LED? My sewing machine is about 12 years old so it has the old incandescent bulb. Also wondering if the blue color affects how clearly you can see what you"re doing?
It's just a plain white light, but it does seem to show up as blue on video. I think maybe it's because of the machine being black, but I'm not sure.
Ok I missed that while I was texting lol !
I love itttttt
💕
What are the finished dimensions?
Does each new baby get a new blanket?
I always make new blankets, sheets, etc. for each new baby. I enjoy preparing pretty new things for each one.
What foot did you use?
I wish I could answer this for you. Andrea unexpectedly passed away last year. I hope you can figure it out!
@@TheMillsFamilyVlog oh no! I'm so so sorry to hear that #condolences
I wanted to see the whole Blanket open when it was done to see how the edges look
