Perfect Male Lion Sighting | Safari Journal | Marataba | South Africa

We are always looking to find the perfect light and the perfect moment to be able to get the perfect photo or video. These moments on safari are rare and a bit of luck is definitely involved.
On this afternoon safari, we headed out in search of that moment, just after a rain storm the air was clear and crisp and the lions were in the perfect place and Marataba once again brought its magic to deliver an incredible experience.

Splendid duo of strong and healthy Kings ! They are a mirror of each other, same size and both are muscular, same beautiful manes ... a perfect coalition ! My only concern is that even a two top males coalition is not sufficient vs larger coalitions and there are certainly a few around them...
For now, I wish them to live many more years together 🤞.
