I never gave it a thought at the time, but! We went shopping yesterday we had 2 carts full (Stocking up a bit) after unloading 1 cart into the car I brought that cart (Electric cart) back into Sam's club. When I came back out my wife was working on unloading the other cart. We were right at the door so I was close. When I came back out some guy is there asking my wife if she needed some help. At the time I thought what a nice guy willing to help. Now I wounder maybe it wasn't so innocent after all. Hard to say. and to think the car was running while we were loading it. Shut the car off and take the keys. This could have went bad real fast! Thank you!
Yes it could have. I tell females when I see them in the parking lot loading their cart into their car that the first thing they should do is lock their purse inside the car then load their purchases into the car. I see it a lot where they have their purse in the child seat unsecured and they aren't paying attention to it. Someone could've easily stolen it. There may not be much in there but it's a PITA to cancel credit cards drivers license and all kinds of identifiers are in there that are a gold mine for a thief.
If you are going to do this, do it from a distance, 10' or so, so she doesn't freak on you and back off if she does. She could be packin or have spray.

My car is in the garage but once in my doors are locked. When I park in the grocery parking lot, I look around, get everything in my hands, check again open my door just enough that I can lock the doors, step out and lock the doors. Reverse the steps when I return to the car. Bottom line is to be aware of everything around you - don’t be looking at your stupid cell phone!!!!

Then I realized my safety was not my son's responsibility. Now I have an emotional-support pet named Ruger that rides on my hip everywhere I go. My Beretta range bag is my purse, no lie. I highly encourage anyone who wants to carry but is scared to handle a weapon- GET. OVER. THE. FEAR. Your safety, at this point, is on YOU. In the event someone wants to take the pet Ruger off of my right hip, my razor sharp half-ulu on my left hip will remove their hand. I'm not playing. I'll protect that ruger with everything I have.

One of the best protections are a couple of very large dogs that don't mess around. Even a dog that barks like crazy when any noise happens around the house, helps a lot. Motion cameras, motion detection floodlights, LED flashing lights, motion detecting voice tapes, etc. discourage anyone from messing with your home, as do posted warnings.
Until they're outlawed. I know, people say all sorts of bold stuff, but they're working on pushing new international treaty on America.

I am a migrant, but my parents went through hell as they paid for all the forms and waited 2-3 years to do it right. My father never asked for no welfare. Why are they using our hard earned tax money for illegal people. It makes me so mad that we, the ones who obeyed the laws, have to bust our ass so, you know who, can keep the Law-breaking-illegals comfy and fed all on our dime.
