Good thing one character isn't that much better than the other. The real power is in adding both to one team, and adding Sephiroth's UW gives an endless high boost to MATK.

Very nice of you showcasing them both against each other tifa is the clear winner for me she has more useful kit also haste advantage also for the team than sephiroth does

I think Sephiroth is better just because the damage is to all enemies, and then if there is one it has increased damage, Also because if I'm not mistaken there is Cait Sith's Ultima weapon that increases both magical and physical damage, it's only once I know, but better than nothing

I think both of them have certain fights where they are useful, but combining them seems to be the best.
