@@klockenberg2299 nope. the tekken 3 pre fight intros are not the same as the cutscene ones. As you see in tekken 8, we got both

wtf with that xiao heat damage lol. she used to be one of the lowest damaging character unless you do a very optimal string/juggle. this is like one heat engager + 3 hit combo.
No metal crash in the versus screen, and the announcer voice volume needs to be fixed. But it's looking so awesome so far!

It seems to me that the flow of the combats is interrupted too much by the animations of the rage art and the heat system. It seems to me that it would be better if after activating the rage you could choose between rage art OR heat system, but not both

cause they let it hit on purpose. you can see them clearly safe. yet they get hit everytime. they get hit to show it off

@@CD-ek3iq It has nothing to do with the simplified input of the rage art. Even in Tekken 7, you can bind it to a button and execute it with a single press of a button. It's more of the fact that you get much less punishment for whiffing or getting it blocked (it's no longer launch punishable as of this moment)
But it could also be a newbie player thing as most of them would always want to use rage art as soon as it's available. The early alpha test clips uploaded publicly weren't gameplays from a seasoned player, obviously.
Edit: As the other guy also said, they're letting the rage art hit on purpose to show it off.
The ones playing might not be pros, and hell sometimes even pros do panic rage arts

the announcer voice sucks and the pyrotechnics need to be toned quite a bit its too overwhelming and could cause a seizure, but other than that it looks fun

its not super exciting its just different. Honestly the heat system just seems like sort of an eye sore that interupts the combat flow. The way it works is well ok i guess but it seems like the game is doing alot of dangling preety flashy stiff in front of us with no guarentees of long term issues with the franchises previous instalment being addressed. Long time players can see this and not be too suprised.

You would still get the idea. Same can be said for pretty much all good games. Not even talking about the score the game itself deserves but one thing I will say: This is not what I would buy a ps5 for. Put this on a ps4 and I’ll be more than happily impressed. Like when Tekken 6 came out on ps3, right after Tekken 5 and 4 before. That’s the sort of quality jump this game has. But making an exclusive outta this? It’s clownery
@Dave Kale Bale the game will run at 4k 60fps, will have to run 4k 60fps online and has to maintain that with 0 drops. You cannot expect them to show you almost CGI level quality visuals and maintain a perfect 4k 60fps with 0 input lag, with online, with the specs of the current gen consoles today. You would have to have a very expensive PC even to have that quality. Furthermore, this is , again, running at 720p. You can not compare a game that was designed to have low quality visuals to a game on the current gen. The footage is also from an alpha build. Which means it is unfinished. This game will not release next week, next month or even this year. Expect major changes with the final release.
