The choice of waterfall is a way to paint abstract rhythms and patterns and yet feel that it is very realistic …. I am very attracted to abstract painting and I experience it as a synkinaesthetic experience ( using all the sendes and the felt sense of movement and touch) 🎵🖤🎶
🙏😊 always interesting to compare different approaches … and I like this approach very much. I also use transparent opposites as a neutral underpainting that can be pushed toward a warmer and a cooler underpainting - personally I prefer to avoid gamsol but I admit that it can help make the underpainting very thin ( and faster drying)🎶🎨🎵
