CCTV camera lens glass cleaning - how to clean.

CCTV camera lens misty. These lenses can be cleaned using alcohol. The recording will be clearer once its cleaned.
Sometime moisture gets inside the unit and mists up the inside of the lens.

Very nice that you show how to clean the lens for others that don't do this.. I thought I would offer a Pro Tip that might come in handy for you and others that might want to do Camera Maintenance. I buy them by the bag and not all cameras have the same size so I will buy 2 different size. I am talking about Silica Gel packets. Dry and Dry is the brand I use most often. Mine get Replaced every other year in most locations and in a couple of Extreme locations I will replace them yearly. Please keep in mind I live in Very Humid area and others might get away with replacing them every 3 to 5 years however most people don't replace and over time camera just gets really gross and people toss the cameras. I have some cameras that still look new that I have owned for 5 to 6 years. Also with your Glass of the one camera seeing it is in the are of the IR I would personally use some CA glue and make sure that it is sealed well so nothing leaks in and with it being broken (Cracked) that Gel Packet should be replaced and it will keep your Lens Glass area clear of drops of water.. Also for some that are in Sea Water area I had my place on the beach I would replace the packs every 6 months, again a very humid area and salty sea water is bad for any type of camera..

very good tip and those silica packets usually come with electronics and we just discard them but now i can repurpose them for the idea you had.
