Ah yes Bob’s White Christmas, an absolute classic. As I said last year, this episode is truly heartwarming and whilst Bob and Dizzy were the main characters of this episode, everyone had a part to play in this episode. The machines acting like curious children was a great touch, and I can never get enough of the comedy especially Spud mistaking Dizzy for a Snow Monster. And the ending is truly sweet, truly does show the meaning of Christmas. Great review Madison!! And Merry Christmas to you!! 🎄🎁🔔🎅🫂
I can agree on that, Liam!! The episode was simple, but very heartwarming on delivering the spirit of Christmas while also showcasing that it is special to have snow go along with it too! Thank you so much for enjoying my take on this episode!😊🎄
Bob's White Christmas is one of my favorites from the series as it's one of the few (by few I mean like between 15-25) episodes that I watched as a kid from the few DVDs of BTB I owned. Although Bob's White Christmas was the one exception to this. Around 2013, I purchased the 2001 VHS release from a flea market (along with some plastic Scoop toy), and that's about it. I really liked this episode just for the warm (ironically) feeling it gave me, specifically towards the end where the machines are reacting to their presents on Christmas day; I always loved watching scenes like that in media just because I could always relate to the feelings that others expressed from opening presents. I will say that "snow monster" Dizzy always unnerved me a little as a kid, mainly due to the snow texture on her face and her mouth plate obviously being removed from the model (her wide eyes didn't help either lol). Thankfully, it didn't unnerve me too much as I never found myself looking away from her appearance, just because it wasn't on screen for that long. Merry Christmas, Madison, and if you don't post anything else by the end of this year, happy new year!
Wow!! That was a most fantastic Christmas review Madison!! It’s such a delight to see you do another Bob the Builder review after such a long while!! 😃Bob’s White Christmas is definitely one of the episodes where everything is just sometimes so simple and not too overwhelming like how A Christmas to Remember was!! Bob did an excellent part of this episode especially with him and Wendy telling the machines about keeping the spirit of Christmas alive with how they mentioned about Santa Claus and plus it was great to see Bob dressing up as Santa near the end!! Dizzy was also a very prominent character in this episode too, her innocence is just too pure especially when she wishes for a white Christmas to only make it come true! I also feel so sorry for poor Dizzy trying to get through the snow to bring Bob his mobile phone and get covered with snow! But I also like how Dizzy was the reindeer which is also very cute! 🧡 Other elements of the episode are very memorable too like Scoop and Muck’s snowball fight and Spud being scared thinking Dizzy covered in snow was a snow monster were very funny! 😂 And I really like how in the end on Christmas morning all the machines get so excited about receiving presents by “Santa” definitely shows that even they can have the heart of little kids in them like most of us still do even when growing up! 😁 Overall: Bob’s White Christmas is truly a very simple yet very memorable Christmas classic to look at and I also rank this episode 9/10!! Wonderful review once again Madison and Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎁😁
Fantastic review! I remember watching this episode a few times on the Hit Entertainment Children’s Favourites A Christmas Treasure DVD when I was young & after giving this episode a rewatch after so long, Bob’s White Christmas is definitely a simple yet memorable Christmas classic!
I first saw this episode on the video tape 'Bob's White Christmas & Other Stories'. I loved that episode and it was a great opener for the VHS tape. I loved how everyone is excited for Christmas. Muck and Scoop's snowball fight is funny and I loved Muck's cheekiness, even when he got hit with snow 😆. Spud getting a fright when he saw the snow monster, or what he thought. The other bit where he mistakes Bob for Father Christmas is funny too. The following morning scene with everyone opening their presents is sweet and a lovely way to end the story 😀. Merry Christmas Madison 🌲.
With how Scoop can rotate his rear 360 like he did in the snow fight, i'd often snap off my toy's and flip it similarly to reflect the scene. I don't think any irl backhoes or excavators have this 360 range Scoop's arm is even cylindrical. And opposed to most real ones and reboot Scoop that swap out the rear bucket, the original only did his front, like here and the porcupine Hibernation. I wondered about the Roley reaction at the end. The US dubbed it with him saying it was a squishy present.
Nice job, Madison! Never once Bob the Builder back in my childhood, Pocoyo, Thomas & Friends, Unikitty, Glitter Force were my favorite childhood shows!!! 😋

Nice!
I remember someone reacting to this episode. It was a channel that would react to British shows.
