Hope there ifs a deluxe release with more footage, could be a lot of discs
Steve parish "You're a damn good audience". "really, really really"!!! Big Blue tanks. Happy that I own "The Grateful Dead Movie" on DVD, it ROCKS!
Hahaha yesss that stood out to me too BigSteve's cameos in the GDmovie I actually just had it on last night! packing up moving
Always wondered what happened to the kid who hated the filming - he said "this bit will never end up in the movie" - but it did! Apt demo of Jerry's Genius to include that. Also, in US Blues, when Phil's plumber (red & white pirate shirt guy) is playing air guitar, it cuts to Jerry actually playing guitar w/the same exact pose. Genius!!!
A bit of detail I only noticed a few years ago after decades of seeing this movie over & over in all sorts of states of mind: When the space man is playing pinball in space, the skeleton holding the cards is pinging away, seemingly racking up loads of points, but the counter never leaves "000,000" Kind of a statement about the pointlessness of everything.
Hahaha hope he got his much wanted residuals!!
Bless You Big Steve 🙏
You Are A National Treasure....⚡⚡⚡
Appreciate that.
It's the TRUTH My Brother ✌️
@@BigStevesBackstagePass It's The Truth My Brother...✌️
Saw the NYC premiere at the Ziegfeld Theater...then proceeded to go to midnight shows at the Mini Cinema in Uniondale, NY every weekend over the summer...I still watch this movie all the time on DVD! Thanks, Steve! Really, really, really! It's the hippest!😎
Thanks for watching.
Whose the long-haired dude in overalls with the peyote buds (I think), jammin to US Blues?
My favorite clip is that one head whos "just trying to gather his space so that he can go into the show!"
Mill Valley must have been epic back in the days before it got posh
Thanks Big Steve! 🌹💀💃
Thank you.
Was at one of those shows. Phil side fourth row
Formulative...
Happy the Vegas thing is over, your back to storytelling ❤
D$C not my cup of tea, Furthur was the end for me. Anything run by LA types is not GD.
I'm happy everyone is having fun and keeping the music going, but not paying them prices for any band.
One question, where did you find Jeremy or did he find you and is he a Head?
He's doing a great job and asks some pertinent questions ✌
Jeremy is a Dead Head. Thanks for watching.
The end for me was June 1995 Shorline California. When Jerry went traveling to the land of happy hunting it was over for me.
Thanks BIG STEVE!! Hard Truckers 4 life!!!🌹💀
My favorite part was the head dancing in the hallway cowboy hat lether vest think it was sugar mag
I thought he was on roller skates first time
Love u Steve
Big Steve please do a Pod On Brent I would really love to hear your thoughts about him!

It was weird finding out members of the dead went to bohemian grove.
Crazy coincidences I decided to put the GDMovie last night when i was packing to move! Your cameos stood out big Steve!
Your a damn good equipment technician! Prolly the best, thanks my friend for these in depth looks behind the live music!
Can anyone explain Bill Grahams joke " I got your stage name all figured out" "Riggo Park" I was looking on Google but couldn't find anything
Thanks for watching Sam.
Yo Big Steve....if you're ever out near Joshua Tree stop on by the Jimtown studios. Peace Daddio!
Hi big Steve... I'm new on here but old school to the Grateful Dead...my boyfriend, Clear Lee Jones has commented on your shows & has told me the story from how you and someone else changed Jerry's strings while on stage and many others but I've got CRS.Syndrome..
I would so love to meet you and hear your experiences and hear how there was peace and love along with groovy vibes...
Rock On Steve.... You're Freakin' Awesome ❣️❣️❣️❣️
Bury Jerry tour 2024... Jerrys Dead, be Grateful!!!!!
The movie means alot to me. I grew up on the Farm hippy commune in Tennessee and one day when i was about 19 ,i was having a bad trip .A friend brought the dead movie to my house and said check this out. It was an amazing trip through the movie, starting with the animation, the biker going down the road, beating it down the line, the wheel. Every part was amazing .
Hey Steve, what was the very first Dead show you ever attended? Can you remember?
Hi steve awesome as usual. Love the grateful dead movie 🎬
