    I have 2 of your smaller cucumber plants, not a fan of the huge cucumbers some folks grow. I grew them in pots, limited area to grow where I live, they are doing amazing and he cucumbers have the most amazing flavor! My neighbors continue to stop by to see if I have anymoe ready that they can have. Lots of folks are enjoying these great cucumbers and I'm definately a customer for life on them!

    I'm glad to hear you say planting "seeds" because I felt I was running a bit behind getting seeds started this year.

    What do I plant that squash bugs do NOT like... I have so many marigolds in my garden it looks like a weed patch. 😆, Okay some of them are weeds but most my weeds are editable weeds. Lol I sure wish I would have has more fencing I would love to have a big garden. Working in the garden early in the morning is like therapy. I love my time with the creator and nature.

    I’ve just planted my cucumber seeds, hoping they will grow. Decided to plant in container under cover for now.
    2 days ago
    Oregon has had an unusually cold & wet spring. Many of my seeds planted outdoors have not sprouted or, the seedlings have stopped growing. Should I wait to see what happens with them? Or, should I just sow new seeds now?

    I understood that cucumbers have alelopatic properties? Is it true? At what distance or in pots shouldcwe plant these companions?

    • @FromSeedtoSpoon
      @FromSeedtoSpoon  7 месяцев назад

      Cucumbers are often said to have allelopathic properties, which means they can inhibit the growth of plants around them due to substances they release. This is a matter of some debate, but it’s often suggested to plant cucumbers at a distance from sensitive plants or to use⬤

    Can you plant bell peppers next to cucumber plants

    • @FromSeedtoSpoon
      @FromSeedtoSpoon  7 месяцев назад

      Bell peppers can be planted next to cucumbers. They don’t have conflicting needs and generally get along well in the garden. Just ensure they have enough space for air circulation to prevent fungal diseases.

    Are Squash beetles the same as cuc beetles? 😢

    • @FromSeedtoSpoon
      @FromSeedtoSpoon  Год назад

      No, these are different. The cucumber beetles essentially look like a yellow ladybug and squash bugs are black-ish with a triangle shaped back. You can check out our app to see pictures of them and best ways to organically handle them!
