- This station opened on the 23rd of Feburary and this is its 4th day of operation. This station was built towards the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020. It was originally due to open last year but it got delayed.
Overall I quite like this train station. It has an interesting floor and platform arrangement, quite nice architecture and looks quite unique for a train station. Everything in the station looks very fresh and new.
Now onto the lifts
The lifts here are brand new Network Rail Stannah generic hydraulic lifts. Sadly not too exciting but they do smell brand new and the one that goes to 3 floors is quite unusual as usually the lifts just go two floors. One thing I hate about the new lifts is that not only does it take a while to level but there is a really annoying and unnecessary delay before the doors open after the lift has stopped which is very annoying but one thing that is great about train station lifts is that they have really heavy duty chassis. Many modern lifts don't have chassis so it is really nice to see a chassis on these lifts. There is also two hydraulic rams so the lift is a lot more durable than most modern lifts.
The circular camera on the ceiling in the lifts and outside the lift doors I believe are connected to the lifts remote monitoring system to allow the lift company to remotely monitor the lifts status and cameras.

Nah train station Stannahs are good
Typical train stations stannahs the glass windows are nice in them though.
I’m not going sounds too windy
This lift looks bad because I hate generics
Stannah, We Used To Make Good Lifts. But we make utter crap Lifts now
@Traffic Lights Of Northamptonshire no they are just boring generics
Agreed crappy generics eugh
@@xxalexaviation first off, there is no such thing as a generic lift. It’s a stupid term Beno (disrespectful tamperer) came up with. Secondly he is perfectly entitled to like train station Stannahs if he wants.
