1: Don't use Paper Towels. They're too rough! Use a Micro Fiber cloth like the kind made to wipe the dust off an LCD TV screen. Micro Fiber cloths are SOFT so they don't wear off the coating of your LCD TV. So that cloth is unlikely to scratch your CD.

I think as it spins on the second rotation you need to add more lube to the disk.. that's why it was slowing down and buckled.

had one of these back in like 1999. it revived many of my ps1 games. i never put my disks back in the case as a kid and they got all ruined because of it till i bought one of these at eb games...prob one of my best purchases as a child

This is more of a cleaner than a repairer. It seems this won't buff out scratches. Plus, the machine seemed to start dying out at the end... what was that??

You need the 24 count from the box stand. The original logoed logo box of battery. Or just 24 count battery from the counter. The battery power in these things or wild. And they have explosion risk. They will get hot and explode. But this is better.

The Skip Dr didnt work on mine... I didnt have any scratches but I did have something that looked like it had something with water staining it
