Realizing the priest was a criminal, Sang-mi shouted accusations at him, calling him a murderer. The priest remained silent and delivered a powerful blow. It became clear that he was the leader of the cult, using sweet words to manipulate the parents of any daughter he desired. Sang-mi decided to cooperate to gather evidence to destroy the cult, preparing to confront the priest as he tried to lean in for a kiss. However, he was suddenly pushed back and punched away. The person who arrived was Sang-hwan, who had feelings for Sang-mi. He grabbed her and was about to escape when the priest lunged at him with scissors. Just as the priest thought he had succeeded, Sang-hwan punched him away, and they finally managed to escape.
Sang-mi's mother had stopped taking the cult's drugs and had regained her normal state, now rushing to rescue Sang-mi.
After hugging her mother, Sang-mi took out the phone she had hidden on her leg and revealed the priest's confessions of his crimes. But just as they prepared to leave, the priest charged at them, grabbing Sang-mi and threatening everyone with a knife, demanding to be let go. With no choice, Sang-hwan had to release the priest. He immediately found his most trusted assistant. However, after all that had happened, the assistant's faith began to crumble. She poured gasoline around the church, and as the priest looked on in confusion, the assistant picked up a lighter, ready to set the church on fire. The priest tried to stop her, which gave Sang-mi the chance to pull out scissors hidden in her cloth and stab the priest fiercely. The injured priest struggled to get up but accidentally knocked over a candle on the table. Instantly, flames spread through the gasoline, destroying him. He writhed in pain on the ground, while Sang-mi and Sang-hwan ran outside. After a final, agonizing scream, the priest was struck down by a burning cross, dying at the scene.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Sang-mi felt tears streaming down her face as she realized everything was finally over. They no longer had to run and could walk freely. Soon after, a large number of police arrived to clear out the leftover of the cult. News reports began broadcasting that dozens of bodies had been discovered deep in the mountains, marking the cult’s destruction. Sang-mi and her mother settled into a normal life. Meanwhile, Sang-hwan was preparing to leave for military service. As he and his friends said their goodbyes, Sang-mi appeared to bid farewell as well. Sang-hwan and the others were taken aback, and after a brief exchange, Sang-mi finally smiled.
oh and i was just wondering because i could not follow the storyline and was confused.
I loved the 2nd lead more than the main lead. He was more helpful and persistent.
When they went to the police station and she over 18 so she should be able to tell the police that she is over 18 and she can say where she wants to be and they have to take her seriously

Definitely a drama. They got caught up in a cult, which never ends well. Very action packed. Such losses.

I think the father was too far gone to where he was really basically believing all the hype I do believe at the beginning that they might’ve drugged him like his wife, but unfortunately, all the men probably work were at the beginning, but I do believe at a certain point they have to reduce the dosage because I think because of the nature of the medicine they gave them to control the mind Unable to it reduces the physical he would have to do because he was still have to coach like they kinda rely on outside funds to keep it going, and I bet you all the men were actually slowly persuaded to seek out work outside the compound because you know it had to get funded somehow to keep going and I think they just keep enough in the system of the men to You know weaken the mind kind of and destroys a lot of brain cells as a side effect of the medicine they give them so even if they ever get found out later on because a long-term use, their mines probably are almost gone anyway, and they’ll be in withdrawal probably for a long time, but also taken with the medicine they were given they were systematically under a lot of stress from the move and a big upheaval. I’m trying to find a place to live you know, and all that plus it didn’t help at all that has one of his sons committed suicide and his other younger son, had an accident/non-accident that he couldn’t wrap his mind around that he led his family into danger and believed that they were actually being nice to him and were helping him when that was the opposite because he’s the head of the family he supposed to be with and be able to lead his family to safety and he didn’t. He’s the one that actually actually let them there and two and to follow them when his first priority should’ve been his family and the safety of his family, be the one that should know better his wife be some blame too. She didn’t protect her children along with the husband, but but we also kind of believe to that women are not the most strongest when there are security is basically threatened and have a lot of up that life will actually come to bear a lot of people. Because she ought a also believe that too what she should’ve in her mind, you know should’ve questioned specially, when the security of our children were at stake.
