It is amazing what such a small act of kindness can mean to our fellow creatures. This gentle soul may not have thought what he did was a huge thing, but Water is Life, especially out in the desert. And that little lizard could survive for quite some time on that precious gift of "Life".
im fairly confident that if there are lizards in the wild in any given area, there is a nearby water source that they’ve been using to survive for quite a while. this isn’t a special act at all. it just someone who probably doesn’t really know much about nature at all, annoying a wild lizard. you make it sound like he saved a starving child. you’re really making a mountain of a molehill here.

Because a completely wild creature would absolutely never take fresh water so willingly (and calmly) from a human being that it most likely considers a "predator" (due to his sheer size, if nothing less). Yep, he definitely wouldn't run like* the* wind* to get away from the GIANT people encroaching in his space, straight to one of his myriad magical fresh water holes *in *the *dry *parched *desert. Absolutely no question. How many deserts have you lived in?? Nevermind.
It's amazing how miserable some people are that look to write bitchy nasty comments on an innocuous post, because they have nothing but misery and unhappiness in their own lives. Such a shame, Tyler, that those people feel the need to try and spread their pain around, so they aren't so alone in their misery. @@aurtisanminer2827 I found out a long time ago ..when I captured a few of those horny toad lizards etc.. put them in a fish bowl added water , left for the weekend - came back and they were all shriveled up like a prune .. the water was absolutely too much ..ever since then I've just let them be ... It makes me fascinated with humanity. I saw a video of a guy who saved a bee and it stayed with him until it died but lived an adventurous life hanging out on his shirt going for walks. The effort put into giving a bug a fulfilling 1-4 week long life is not something you're seeing with another species 😆
