I think this might be an ace dragon scenario, like how ace dragon had multiple forms back to back for use against different opponents to better suit different match ups and gimmicks.
I think the evolutions are the equivalent of the duel layers since burst started it’s show in duel layers, while X decided to start from the start of manga

Dran Sword was already my favorite X bey for battling. Dran Dagger looks like so much fun. I think having quick access to Shark is also very worth it. Attacker's paradise.
Seems like they're gonna go with a new route where Bladers can have more than 1 bey to use in the story, instead of just sticking to one per season. Like a substitute bey where one is the primary, and the other is the sscondary sub. Just like IRL bladers who can use more than one bey in a tournament
Don't see Dagger being an "evolution" to Sword since swords are considered mightier. So I believe that it'll be more of a side bey to Kamen X that he can use to switch up the gameplay where he doesn't need to have that much attack power but maintain his endurance. We already saw something similar with Shield and Lance.

I wouldn't say this is an evolution, but more like a variation. Seems like Beyblade X is encouraging bladers to build a team of Beyblade like in Pokemon instead of the traditional one blader - one bey
Nah man if anything it's probably a little weaker than Sword. Sword's design is the best thing ever for smash attack, and barrage attacks just simply aren't that good
They have their own benefits imo Dran Sword generally does better against Defense Beys because of the big damage and Dran Dagger is more consistent and does better against Stamina Types because it doesn't lose its energy as fast

My birthday is June 3 too! I bought myself a bunch of X beys and my brother got me a stadium. I've been catching up on Beyblade X since then and I have a ton of beys and equipment now.
You think there going to be a third side evo like DranBroad as in broadsword, KnightMace/Flail, or a HellFire, or maybe a side evo for wizards like a WizardSpear/Wand
The thing with the Rush bit is that its gonna be going about the same speed on the extreme line as if u used flat, while they made the actual teeth platform smaller which would slow it down, they removed some teeth which would speed it up, so its basically moving about the same speed
Changing the number of gear teeth on the tip too much could accelerate reliability problems to the teeth on the tip and stadium, unless they will release matching new gear teeth for the stadium as well
I like to collect all the different beys i don't really buy recolors so for me i w8 for sets to get some of the random boosters beys like the shark one in this set and i think if u don't buy a started and just buy sets u can get them all cheaper but u have to w8 a bit, which is not a big deal
I'm hoping Takara Tomy will release a new recolored Cobalt Drake without the paint on the metal blade coz I want that than the original painted version.

Not really. These are all the same system, just different shapes to do different things. So in Burst equivalent we're still in the single layer era.

Which I love, if Beyblade allows every part it releases to stay relatively relevant than Beyblade X has a chance to be actually competitive.
