For me it’s exploring, when I’m not working, to fill my time I’m out in nature in long hikes. In my experience, giving myself hobbies that are mentally OR physically healthy that I look forward to doing brings me out of a depression. Find something personal to look forward to, it could be listening to music, exploring, meditating, cooking, or literally any hobby at all. The key is to always be doing and trying different things.
