    I have watched it many times. I guess this is best video to get an idea about ULM.... "To learn the beauty of LSM you should know ULM"

    In LSM we r applying factor of safety to loads . So we must include in calculation na ?
    Fck/1.5 = 0.67fck
    0.67fck/1.5 = 0.45fck
    For actual load =0.45fck/1.5=0.3fck
    So net FS =fck/0.3fck =3.33

      Load factor of safety is different and material factor of safety is different.

    who said partial fos for concrete is 2.25 in lsm . its 1.5

    • @DCBAonline
      @DCBAonline  3 года назад

      1.5 is applied twice. So total fos is 2.25

    At 11:04 mins in the video, strain in conc at fck should be 0.002 instead of 0.0035.

      Its 0.0035 which is max strain allowed in concrete as per IS 456:2000
