If his reflect didn't give him invulnerability people would find a way to keep hitting his barrier even if it did chip damage to be able to cheese the fight for an easy win
@@darklight645_ I strike the shield and guard his counter. Unless they changed things since I last fought him, you can brute Force the fight if you want to. That's how I beat him actually
@@darklight645_ it doesn't deal chip damage as far as I'm aware and I dont think you would be able to continuously hit the barrier anyway. The time it takes to cancel and start a new combo isnt fast enough

Some lines come from the character's mouth and others are played at full volume as cues for his attacks, probably. Or it's just the *darkness* talking.

You can turn off flowmotion attacks in abilities. The air step one is sonic cleave or slash. I find turning all of them off actually makes flowmotion much smoother, though.

For this guy, it's after you make him pop his Reflect shield (unless it hits you) the end of his combo chain where he spams the purple waves with each slash, after his "I'm unstoppable" attack, or when he does the back and forth dash slashes, if you guard it he staggers and is open to attack. He also very rarely just casually walks around and can be hit, but there's no rhyme or reason to this state that I've seen.

Not to mention the red mines are the most obnoxious thing. like why are those there during his openings? and why are they not consistent in their detention order. Also 4:00 would have def gotten wall bounced her and died. Im never lucky lol
