Man, I miss Nerdy Nummies. It’s why I originally subbed. I respect Ro’s choice to rebrand to a general food channel, but I adore recreating recipes from the media we love.
This video is taking me back to my childhood when I was 8 years old for my birthday my parents went all out to throw me a Little Mermaid themed birthday party. We put sand all over our patio around the pool, and hung up these paper fish decorations along with seaweed to make it look like the ocean and even had tiki lights going. Then they found this lady who looked like Ariel in real life to dress up as Ariel and swim around our pool throwing coins and treasures we would dive under water to collect. The lady turned out to be one of the Disneyworld parade cast members who played Ariel in the parade. We even found these little seashell shaped bars of soap we gave out with chocolate coins as party favors. Still to this day I love mermaids been obsessed since I was 5 and drove my parents nuts in during bath time constantly singing all the songs.
Damn that sounds like an awesome birthday party! Your parents really went all out. Must've been so fun. I wish I had a cool birthday party like that but I still had nice birthday parties in the past. I unfortunately don't remember all my parties I had as a kid tho

Wow this looks amazing!! Ariel was my favorite disney princess growing up, and I had a little mermaid sheet cake for my 5th birthday from the grocery store but it didn't look as cool as this cake. 5 year old me would have loved this cake for my birthday. Your attention to detail always amazes me, and I love all of the shells and sea life at the bottom. I know this is probably not intentional, but thank you for making a chocolate cake instead of a white cake since everyone got mad that the live action actress is black instead of white like the original
Not havingan the best morning so this is the perfect thing to find, she'll definitely put a smile on my face. Love The Little Mermaid grew up on it, one of my babysitter's did some type of Voice work and sounded just like Ariel.
