I don't understand why so much hate is expressed towards this director, he showed the true face of hollywood in those days and its still alive.
Ana on the other hand, my great admiration and respect. Totally transformed into Marilyn, between the two of them they have made the world see what the acting career is like, how deplorable, monstrous, cruel, misogynist cinema is.

He said she didn't have friends. Lol what a joke. She had loads of female friends including Judy garland and Ella Fitzgerald. She was extremely intelligent and driven and she made the ditsy blonde persona to play the public. She wasn't actually like that. She had endometriosis and fertility issues which makes the abortion scenes even more disrespectful to her. Yeah you can make a fictionalised account of a person but to go to these lengths and recreate actual photos and shoot in the place she actually died tells you exactly what this directors intentions were.
