I drove my first Semi yesterday at my courses for Class 1 F and M mention(In Quebec). I'm in my late 30's and I'm not ashamed to say, I've never grinded gears this much in my life, poor freightliner. My greatest regret is not doing this 15 years ago. I spent 4hours driving in an industrial park and I absolutely loved every single nanosecond of it. I was bobtailing for yesterdays courses, but next course I'll be hauling a step-deck with Styrofoam blocks(very light). I'm so excited, but I have a lot of car shifting bad habits to let go of... tryn to shift the thing like in the fast and furious.. 400rpms between gears I know, and I'm only driving a 10 speed but I did get lost a couple times coming into corners, but it will come with seat time my instructor told me. I still have 18h's of a 22 hour course of seat time to go before my SAAQ road test. Man did I love driving that truck yesterday tho... I just want to go drive right now!.. sadly my next course is only next week I WANT TO DO DRIVE NOW! haha
My A/C broke yesterday ( SUPER HOT 🔥) Hitting 117 ° in Vegas this weekend. So I'm commenting first on yesterdays video : Man that turno sounds so BAD A**. Driving through that little town. Glad their working on the highway widening it for all . Happy Belated Canadian Day & 4th. So So Happt for Diesel Weasel . I think you should referr to the Turbo motor as "Diesel Weasel " sense he helped pay for it. $$ 🇨🇦 . great video today too other than burning your tongue. Lol . Safe travels 🙏

My hometown of 2500 people. By 6pm everything is closed for the day and there is nobody out on the roads. Very weird to go for a visit from a city that has things open 24hrs
You wanted to know where everybody was in Litchfield, MN? Shopping at Wal-Mart. If a small town has a dead downtown, there is usually a Wal-Mart nearby.
Well I just ordered Bullsnot you convinced me to try it for the big truck. I ordered from them on Amazon their sight was confusing to order they need a button add to cart lol. Thanks
Here's a super helpful tip, if you ever burn yourself apply yellow mustard to the burn and let it dry. It takes the sting right away and speeds up the healing. I keep the little packets of mustard in my truck and the first-aid kit. I've never tried it on my tongue but I think I will try it next time. Who doesn't look at their truck rolling by in the windows. Small towns roll up the sidewalks at 6PM. I can tell you're in the north mid-west when there are parking spots in a Loves late at night. Stay safe.
And anybody that’s been in the trucking industry for any length of time, especially the cross border trucking industry history knows that July 1 and July 4 mean hardly any freight
I am going to stay home for the 4th. My poor chiweenie hates fireworks and since they are blasting them off all around where I live, I stay home to comfort him. He stays stuck to me like glue even with a thunder shirt for anxiety on.

You get to see a lot of Canada and the United States when you're on the road in Big Blue, but your viewing is primarily limited to what you can see from INSIDE the cab of the truck. Do you ever pass by something that makes you want to return to that place on your OWN TIME and get a better look? Tell us about that!
A good mayor will tell you. It's one thing to get people to downtown businesses during the day. But if you can get them to come down at night, that's the key. And it usually takes downtown residential living.

Maybe they are not obsessive compulsive like you or maybe they had a long day, a bad day and just did not give a damn and went to bed, maybe they got bad news from home, a death or something and pulled off the road the grieve and did not care how straight they parked or maybe they knew you would be around and did it to annoy you or maybe you should not assume and start judging people.
I watch enough of Bonehead Truckers to know what you're talking about. That shirt you are wearing, "Pretend I'm not here", some of those drivers are taking that literally.
