I have laptops with server and client software ready to go. Do I follow same approach? Not sure how to configure addressing and to allow internet access through the server I guess, but via ethernet to the clients. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you

You go too fast, you start clikcing all over the place w/o explaining what you're doing. Very frustrating to "look over your shoulder".

hey there, i set up the DC and DNS server as shown. I was able to join the domain with my workstations, but they don't have internet connection when the DNS address is pointed at the DC (works fine with auto, but i lose domain access)The DC has internet connection if i set the DNS address to 127.0.0.1/8.8.8.8/auto. but if i point it at the DC's IP address, that loses internet connection too. Did i mess up setting up the DNS?

For someone who calls themselves infused. I feel you should know better than to call your Server XXXDC. It's a bit obvious which server to go and hack first!!!!!!

This is for a lab, not prod. It is for someone that is trying to learn to setup and configure a DC.
