I am all in tears now as I was literally wishing ‘if only Falcon could cast this!’ when I saw this on the Artosis channel.
We made it! Artosis is a great dude.
I watched the game live on Artosis twitch channel. I am glad that falcon casted it too. And it's Artosis v Stork, everyone know how it is going to end. Actually at teh end of the game Artosis lost 0 MMR, as if to say "come on men, there was no chance you would win"
Artosis get trolled on his channel, but he is actually really good. There are so many remarkable things in this game. That scv block to defend the tank was awesome. Also note that the SCV come to repair the bunker 2 seconds before dragoon range kick in.
Stork is very patient in this game. Many times he kills some tank and moves back, he knows he is at peak efficiency and he does not need to finish it right now. Artosis was a bit sloppy in inching his 3rd forward and Stork punished that. That delayed Artosis 3rd which delayed the resources to protect the future 4th.

I watched this on artosis channel and was curious on how stork looked, stork was toying with him specially double early forge, just expanding and keeping him on three bases, had the game in hand the entire time! artosis is awesome but if you know broodwar watching this you knew it was elementary vs college

17:00 - These recalls may seem like they are just throwing units away, but they are actually very strong. The main acomplishment is forcing the Terran to unsiege a bunch of tanks and waste a bunch of mines in his base. It effectively buys you 2-3 minutes while he moves his army back to the front and remakes vults before he can push. Every minute you delay the 3/2 push nets you 1-2k resources that your expansions can mine before they get pushed and killed, which means you at least break even for losing your army. Every tank you kill further delays the push, and killing a couple of turrets makes the next recall more dangerous (edit: as you can see, in this game, the first one clears mines and makes a hole in the turret ring, the next one kills depos and ends the game), until you eventually knock out his production or keep him in his base until he mines out.

The last recall... how can you even recall that many army? hahaha! I was able to watch this game from Artosis a few months back, I think, but man, still a good cast to see what's going on in the background... Keep it up FP!
And u can see strangely the dragoons attacking the turrets on the first recall, it was all on storks plan all along....DUDE
Stork killed that ursadon because he knew Artosis wanted to do it.
Wauw, it seemed like Stork was toying with Artosis for most of the game. It almost felt like Storks wife must have come in at the end and told him they had to get ready to go out, so he just finished up the game then and there, ending it as casually as it would have been to just GG out.

Do you know which video of Artosis's is where during the match-up he goes "...oh..." in disappointment? I'm not sure if this is the same video that you referenced at the beginning.

The look on artosis face for 10 seconds after he sees Stork on the loading screen and 2788 MMR. Artosis was around 2150 i believe so he lost 0 mmr after the game

goes to show how good Flash is... Stork is a legend and easily destroys most pro-gamers and when he played Flash, Flash looked like he was playing while drinking margaritas on a hammock in cancun.

Yeah, clearly shows the difference between pro and legend. With not much early pressure against Artosis Stork gets 30 supply lead moving out, and gets maxed out while Artosis, who have not lost a base, nor have been massively dropped, reaches mere 120 supply. Flash given that little pressure would outmax Stork much earlier.
@@damian_madmansnest yeah, the delta in ability is shocking when you think about it. and it doesnt mean the other two are bad players.. just that Flash is not human lol
The T player played exactly the same way I did when I was playing the campaign, tank and turret for the win. Slow but safe, the AI couldn't counter this strategy. But look like this doesn't work well in multiplayer 😂

the hate between bw and sc2 is dead, we both like our specific games, i probably wont watch many sc2 games except for the best of the best (such as the gsl final tonight) but i have no problem merging bw and sc2 casts together.

First time a terran loses to recall in the main? Artosis ALWAYS quits the game to recalls in the main, its happened hundreds of times. You should watch his rage streams

Guys how can you have 300-400apm especially this early in a game? Is it random clicking I guess?

they're microing protoss educational system in the background.
A lot of early APM is cloning the worker split, setting the rally point and directing workers, utilizing the scout, and hotkeying the location of the map you plan to start building(players will keep an eye on that part of the map inbetween everything else). They're also adding each new worker to their hotkey groupings in case they have to run or drill them. All the hotkeying adds up.

@@JoshDragRace0688 I haven't seen that many of his games but one time he seemed to do pretty well with a few goliaths in the main, the trick is they can follow the arbiter and keep getting hits off. More expensive in gas and supply but I think it'd be worth trying more often.
@@dylans3833 That works too, but turrets take up space, if u got 2 lines of turrets on the perimeter then the arbiter has to fly farther to get space to get the recall off, goliaths don't really block like that.
I've seen flash play plenty of TvP, or Z, anything but TvT he puts so many turrets in his main base you think it might be too much. But that is what he does and he wins a lot of games obviously.
@@JoshDragRace0688 You can also counter recalls by placing widow mines. These can destroy clumped protoss units if arbiters get to be really unlucky.
