So, honestly I know nothing about this woman. But being part Japanese, and knowing about martial arts in general (being a life-long practioner) and having done Judo, 10th dan has always been reserved for those considered founders or near founders. Of the only 15 Judo 10th dan, many were considered by lineage equal to that of Kano. In fact, most dies well before 1950. ALL had their own lineages in jujitsu before Judo. Are you indicating or stating that she is as well? I'm only trying to get clarification no what you mean.

I would only mention too that I knew of men who practiced all their lives and never attained hachidan. They were champions true and true.
