The protests should hold in all major cities abroad.
Bad governance back home is also affecting us here. Some of us would love to return home. I see many seniour citizens of Nigerian descent who have worked and retired and want to return home but insecurity would not let them. They are bored here. We get constant calls for help and support from loved ones and friends back home. It is draining mentally and financially. If things are working, many of us would rather stay back home than come here and be treated like second class citizens. The demand on us for help would ease which would give us peace of mind.
Those of us in the diaspora have a stake in the Nigerian project. Our voices must be heard as well.

This is what those of us in the West are going through. Going for 4 years, l have been helping a friend of mine in Nsukka, sending her $350-$400 and paying the tuition of her 7yo daughter to attend a private school. She's Igbo, and l am Urhobo by birth. And l am more fluent in Yoruba than Urhobo. The situation in Nigeria is truly sad.
People still think ethnicity is their problem; that's the idea the leaders are showing into their empty heads.
The situation is pathetic. I can't even log onto my social media accounts because each time I do, I get bombarded with messages from people needing help. It is so tiring and draining. The bad governance of Tinubu is not just making life hard for those back home but also those of us in the diaspora who have had to fill the gaps for our loved ones. It is draining.
