I'm actually using these videos as my vocab builder. I've been trying to learn japanese for a few weeks. using the list until this point, I can recite all 260 words (in order looking at the word on my list here in english). I do struggle sometimes to remember them if challenged by other things like books, but it is an excellent way for me to learn them into some form of practice by following the very thorough example. It's one of my big accomplishments to follow this list, and it makes it easy to increase my review by 20 words at a time while mixing easy words that are in the beginning of lots of materials with other words that are more unusual.
Thank you for your enthusiastic instruction Risa, if I can offer one small piece of advice for the pronunciation of the letter N, N is spoken with the lips slightly parted and the tip of the tongue touching the roof of the mouth immediately behind the teeth, if you close your mouth you speak the letter M.
@@sofiaplayz7301 jejeje, i mean, to study in Japan, I'm interested in learn enough japanese to start studying in a japanese university because I'm in highschool 😢, mid year left and I trying to get JLPT n3 to enter to one 🤩, but thank you for the comment 🥰
@Risa - you are a wonderful host, but at 8:10, you need to pronounce “large” properly. I mention this because you make the same mistake in the intro with “flash card”. In English, “ar” in these words is pronounced “aahhr”, not “euhr”. English and American pronunciation may be a little different, but mostly, in this case, because of the way the consonant is said. The vowel is more similar.
I think this is my favourite type of video. I could literally watch this for 8 hours straight
when parents say back in my days...
6:57
...to get to school
Thanks
