My mom didn’t let me wear makeup till I could afford to buy it myself. Age 16. And then I appreciated my little paychecks and spent it on better things. I never got into a lot of makeup. Some eye shadow and blush.

Maybe get her a practice make-up head form that she can clean with a wipe and then make a new face? ❤ If you have a napkin holder that holds napkins standing up, or an old cd shelf, sometimes those work with holding pallete organised.

So does makeup just ruin your childhood? I’m a grown adult and I played with makeup after school and in my free time all the time when I was her age. Also, 11 is a great age to start practicing and learning how to do makeup because she probably is going into middle school which is usually the age girls start to wear small amounts of makeup to school.
