It’s a shame they didn’t do something like the Delta Episode for Giratina. As good as the remakes are, Platinum did so many things much much better and this was one of the things they should’ve changed.
@@banuner_ Well you gotta remember, the games these are remakes of were made before Giratina was even part of the PokeDex therefore it makes sense that it isn't getting as much attention as Dialga or Palkia.
@@Squidward_Tennisballs The problem with that is ORAS and the Delta Episode. Rayquaza was available as extra content in Ruby and Sapphire long before Emerald existed. So, for ORAS’s post game, there’s an entire post game story basically representing Emerald. Same for Giratina. If you went out of your way to find it, you would get it. Not only that, it had a PokeDex entry. There’s no excuse as to why they didn’t include some sort of Platinum episode in BDSP. And before you say it, ORAS is essentially Ruby and Sapphire all over again. BDSP are Diamond and Pearl all over again. If ORAS can go the extra mile, for something as beloved as Sinnoh with remakes being requested for years, they didn’t put in the effort and it shows.
Also bear in mind they added box backgrounds that were exclusive in Platinum, meaning they still acknowledge it. No matter how you look at it, when you get down to the nitty gritty, it’s baffling as to why they didn’t do much more than minor references to Platinum when people often consider it the definitive Sinnoh experience.

There is a remix of Giratina's theme, there is a new item that lets you fight a shadow version of Giritina's Platinum form and the theme is the battle music, and you get the orb that allows you to change Giratina's form afterward.

I mean, theres the distortion room... but I think if they did the distortion world it would just be a platinum remake. Personally platinum is my favorite out of the three, but it should really be dedicated to Diamond and pearl. Maybe a dlc will come out for platinum content?
I doubt that it will be DLC, I mean this seems to be following the original DP storyline, you get Giratina post game but maybe you can go to Distortion World in Legends of Arceus

No, you cannot. In the old games if you KO’d a standing legendary Pokémon or even legendary in general, that was the only of its existence in your game.
This is originally a remake of just diamond and pearl so asking for distortion dimension or extra content wasn't here before don't have to surprise, who knows if they will add more pokemon events in the future but just wait next year with pokemon arceus.
No joke but when I found giratina I threw an ultra ball and then I caught it first try lol, and I bought a bunch of potions and ultra balls expecting it to constantly break out lol

I had no clue about this I randomly found it I went into the cave and I tried to leave but I couldn't so I went on here to try to figure out how to get out and accidentally found giratina lol
The tip for Pokémon games is save before you fight it. If you kill it or it kills you, exit out to Home Screen of the switch, close the game, start it back up, then try again. Make sure auto save is off in the options as well. If you’ve saved it it auto saved after killing it, you can’t respawn it unless you start a new game. When I was a kid playing blue version, I killed Moltres and accidentally saved. I haven’t made that mistake again in 25 years haha
Not gonna lie I was a little disappointed by the scale of Girantina. In the original games Girantina was this behemoth, and now its barely bigger than you.
I remember playing pearl back in the day and encountering Giratina for the first time. That sprite was scary as hell and imposing !
Discovering it for the first time made me feel like such a boss, before RUclips videos spoiled everything (ahem)

As far as I'm aware, nothing is actually shiny locked this time, apart from the gift mythicals in Floaroma Town and the gift Manaphy!

jay larceny dialga/palkia, mespirit/uxie/azelf, and I’m not sure about any other legendaries but you can get manaphy, mew and jirachi really early on
