Thank you so much, Tammy! I'm so glad you decided to give painting a go! ♥
Hi Tammy, My daughter got me some acrylic painting supplies for Christmas and I am just pumped to paint almost every day! I too am 50 and did some drawing in high school but haven't done anything for 30+ years. I have finally found a hobby that I really really enjoy! Love watching Jane and done 4-5 of her paintings so far. This one is next!
So excited, I started mine Yday. Almst done. My mom wants me to make her one as a chalk board. I am really loving mine. Puting your name on the back. This was a practice run. I want to make a real window for a pallet shed my husband made. Thank you, thank you.
Blessings to all
Jane, it’s because of you my house is dusty and dinner isn’t made. Lol. I lose several hours just watching you. You’re awesome and your explanations make it so easy to follow! Thank you!
LOL!!! Thank you so much, Julie! Messy houses all over the world, that's my goal ♥♥♥
Hello Again Jane!
A huge “THANK YOU” To YOU and Barb Hall for the beautiful Old Shed Window painting. I love the old rustic paintings you’ve done thus far. Please show us more of them along with some outdoor nature perhaps an old shed with a fence, or a meadow of flowers with a rustic cabin. Water features in nature and forest trees and bushes just to name a few. Sorry to ramble on but you’ve made me excited to paint! Although the Old Shed Window painting is only my second one to paint, I am practicing and having my own joyous calming moments as you instruct me. Your wonderful soft voice is teaching me to relax and actually enjoy painting. I find myself in my own little world. Keep making those tutorial videos!!! You’re a very talented lady. Carol D.
Carolle
Hi Jane i am from new zealand, i love your teachings, i am 51 yrs old and my first painting with you was painting of girl in the rain, nobody could bleive that i had painted it, thank you so much for your awesome teaching loving your site, keep them coming,
Hello Jane Love from Istanbul-Türkiye. I love your teaching style and respect your art :) Thank you for teaching us
I'm a pour/abstract artist, self taught. I have been trying to do brush work for a few years to no avail, it's been very frustrating even watching other videos that teach. Then I found your channel!!! I really loved "Forest Steps" and I'm almost through with it!
This is monumental for me, I have never gotten beyond the under painting any time I've tried to paint. I credit this progress to you and the way you teach. It melds with the way I need to paint ie layers upon layers. I could never accomplish this before. I am just over the moon happy and I have you to thank for that Jane!!!! ❤❤❤ Thank You from the depths of my heart!
Oh my gosh, you have no idea how much your message made me smile this morning. I'm very proud of you, and I'm thrilled that I get to help you 💛 Thank you, friend. Keep learning and growing!
Had a privilege of seeing Barb's work. It is also nice that you'll be recreating some of your art squad members' paintings. Can't wait to see them.
Jane you did such a beautiful job on this painting and I love it. I know we are all very thankful to Barb for sharing her original with us, and I'm glad we'll be doing more members' paintings in the future!
Thank you so much, friend
Jane, you are absolutely one of the BEST instructors on Facebook. I can't thank you enough for sharing your talent with us.
I am a beginner painter so enjoying your tutorials. This is the third one I've watched and actually tried the blue vase with flowers finger painted and it turned out better than I expected and such fun! Thank you for the inspiration.
I love love and love this painting you are such a great teacher
Hi Jane, I am fairly new at this and have found that I really enjoy painting. This is one of my favorites. I appreciate you and others who let us follow you on these vidoes...thank you!
Getting ready to paint this Jane! I actually have a photograph, almost identical to this, except, it has grapevines weaving through the window frame. I have to send you the picture. I'm so excited to learn how to paint barn windows, as I live next to many, many old barns. Thank you, you're such an inspiration. Currently working on The Scream as well, on a 30 x 40 canvas. My sky came out amazing! I have to tell you, I was recently diagnosed with ADHD, at 58. I always wanted to paint, but because of it, and not knowing I had it, I would buy everthing, paints, brushes, canvases, etc., and never get started. Now, with help from medication and my therapist, I have found a passion. I don't have to rush through it, I don't have to make it perfect, I don't have to use the same colors, because, it's mine. Thank you, sincerely.
Very relaxing and I love how you gave enough info that we could do it our own ways if we like rather than stressing about every detail being like yours. It also gives me new appreciation for the rundown fence out my window. It's not falling apart--it's art!
Jane, I have been following you for about two months now and am really enjoying your lessons.I live in Australia, and am glad that internet crosses the distances so easily. I also would watch a 6 hour video, although it would be extremely detailed.
This has given me such inspiration and confidence to do this on my actual shed window which has been boarded up and ugly for years!!
This was a real fun one to do. Thanks
I am a new painter, I want to say THANK YOU for taking the time to explain and zoom in on things. I'm a visual person so this helps tremendously! You are a GREAT teacher!!! I LOVE this old wood painting. Can't wait to try it! :)
Jane, I painted the old shed window and I am so happy with it. Thank you for painting it and for explaining it so well.
Love this painting, Thank you Jane and Mystery Barb...Painting it now, I just got my brushes yesterday. I love them, thank you Jane.
Jane, I love this painting! I am a big fan of weathered old wood. I will definitely be using this technique to do an old decaying barn which I pass by frequently.
Yay!!! How exciting that you have inspiration so close to you
I really like your style. You are a wonderful teacher. You take the time to explain brush techniques. Thank you. I've learned a lot from you.
Love love love this one Jane! And I agree with Leesa! Those of us who really want to learn will watch longer videos from you!!!
Wow so beautiful I love your painting. Very inspiring. I like you have posted all the colors you used and con as size. I learned from your video how to mix the colors. Thank you for nice tutorial.
Jane, thank you for well-explained painting videos. I very much appreciate that. You explained your thoughts and the details of what you're doing. A lot of the other painting videos don't have much explanation at all, so it's difficult to learn from them. I ended up just skipping them. So, thanks again!
Jane, I love your paintings and your instructions for painting are awesome. You make a great teacher. Can't wait to paint more with you.Two thumbs up.
I love this painting! Your tutorials are some of the best. You explain everything you do & why you do it, which is of great value, especially to beginners. Thank you so much. I look forward to many more videos. And yes.....I too would watch any 6 hr video you'd make. :)
Haha! You guys are really tempting me with that 6 hour video, aren't you? ;) Thank you so much
I always watch these videos to learn as many techniques as I can. I never recreate the paintings you do because of copyright etc etc but I do use the techniques I learn to create paintings from my own photos. Thank you so much for these amazing videos and teaching us the skills we need.
I hope you are seeing all kinds of success with your painting videos, and other endeavors. I really enjoy your teaching style and painting style. I haven't done enough for myself but always enjoy your new videos. Thanks a bunch.
Windos and flowers are my favourite, i love this and of course the way you explain the painting, thanks jane
You're so welcome, Maria. Thank you so much
It's always a pleasure to learn from you. The video could last for hours and I would not miss any detail. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much, Laura! That means a lot to me
Thank you soooo much, Jane! Your instructions really help me tremendously. I appreciate you!
I think that this is probably my favorite painting that you have done, thus far. reminds me of home. Thank you, Jane!
Aaaaw, Clint, thank you so much!!
Clint, this is my kind of painting too.. it's beautiful, isn't it?
Another AMAZiNG painting Jane!!! Watching you while teaching us is so stressless and satisfying that I totally agree with Leesa McClure... every of your paintings i did came out fantastic. It was a joy, seeing the plessure in the eyes of my friend after I gave your "walk in the rain" to her as a birthday gift.
Thanks for all your work!!!
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me
Jane, good on you for growing your brand! You are awesome to watch, and I hope you continue putting out videos and merch!
Wow! I started painting in January and consider myself a beginner. I have watched this video and feel this painting is going to be a great challenge but can't wait to try it. You do beautiful work I can't wait to get up in the mornings to paint along. Thanks for your time and creations!
I could watch you paint for hours. I love that you explain what you're mixing and why. Subscribed!
un plaisir à chaque nouvelles peintures ... merci beaucoup Jane

Thank you so much, Maureen!
Hi Jane! This was a lot of fun! Thank you. You are so appreciated!
Jane - I just found you today on RUclips. You are an amazing artist and teacher. I am going to paint this window when my gessoed canvas dries. I love how you make it so easy to follow along. Your tips as you paint are incredible. Just showing how you dab the black on with the angled brush is so helpful. I am fairly new to painting and I am so glad I found you. I will be painting a lot with you.
Thanks for sharing your talents with us folks that are new painters. 🎨
Thank you so much, Pam! I'm so glad you found me
C'est très très jolie ! L'effet bois est très beau, bien réalisé, et les branches et feuillage très bien fait.
Jane I always paint the best stuff watching you I hope once I keep learning from you I could finally paint one of my own creations some day. thank you for always being amazing!!! God Bless you. Jaci

You are a wonderful teacher and I discovered my passion for painting thanks to you. Now I am dependent on Tuesdays :)))

Grazie mille! Che significa molto per me
Hi Jane, you look so great! I haven't been painting much lately. However I am interested in making greeting cards. I have finished 2 so far. Plus I'm going to start my first scrapbook for our daughter. So fun! I want to thank you for all you taught me! I won't be able to make the retreat. Sadly enough...but it is what it is. Life is happening. Take care, sweet lady.
Aw, thank you so much, Debra
Hi, I'm just seeing your reply, Jane. Can I share the cards on the monsters page?
I’m new here. I learn a lot from your tutorial. Thank you.
I love love love this painting is simple and beautiful thank you girls for sharing with us
I enjoy watching your paintings on RUclips. I am a beginner painter. I never took lessons, but I enjoy painting. I love the techniques of loading paint on the brush. I have been practicing these. would Ike to paint a picture I seen in your videos. just to practice these techniques. Thank you Jane for sharing with all of us. Barbara.
I just completed this painting and it was fun. The only problem I had was that I used the transparent mixing white for the broken window and it came out more "translucent" than "transparent". Don't know if I did something wrong, but my family loved it anyway. Thanks Jane for sharing your talent each week with us.
Loved doing this
Jane I think your a fabulous painter and you make it look easy which it is not, love this so realistic!!!

Thank you, Sharon! Sounds like you live in a beautiful place
I really enjoyed pushing myself on this one. I struggled with the Zink white though. I even mixed it with a little water before applying by it was still too much. Thanks so much for the great tutorial!

Thanks Barb Hall for this inspiration. Jane you did an awesome job once again. A very good learning video.
Thank you so much, Jana!
This is so sweet, Jane & it's nice of Barb to let us to play with it ... I'm excited! It's taken me 5mths to find a Zinc White here in Australia; as nobody ever stocks the full range of colours for any brand, (so I have to go to 3 different shops for my art supplies but at least that means 3 times the art shopping opportunities! lol .
You are the best and I watched it 5 times and I didn't get bored, thank you so much and plz keep on doing such a great videos
and by the way I wanted to ask if you have a video to that paint of a yellow flower it seems interesting
