Damn Daewon has actually surpassed Rodney! This is the best footage I've ever saw and back in the day I had a pile of burned Skate vids at least 50-60 of them so I've watched a lot of skaters and Daewon is the best.
I just do not even have the right words to say. True artist. That swap out of the wheel on the halfpipe was incredible. He must see stuff in slow mo or something.
I have no words to describe this apart from absolutely god tier skating, respect. I am 43 cant skate no more,but I did back in the day with my independent board and lucky trucks.

This. I said this above, but while imo Rodney does "cooler" things with his board, Daewon *is* his board, and his board looks more like an extension of his body than any other skater I've ever seen.

@DB Cooper's MoneyBags Yet Natas Kaupus gets no respect. That guy was the epitome of progression and creativity in street skating when mullen was still only a freestyler
@DB Cooper's MoneyBags No I'm not downplaying his contribution. He invented the Ollie and the kickflip. He's the goat of freestyle. My point is Street skating came to rodney more than Rodney went to street skating. Do you hear what im saying. All he had to do was just continue doing his freestyle but on a wider deck.
Christ I didnt think i needed to make an entire list of tricks. Just mentioning Ollie should have sufficed for getting the point across. Afterall it is the single most important trick ever invented for skateboarding. AND I am not trying to downplay Mullen. My original point was that Natas was crucial for the popularity of street skating. At that time skating was all about vert. Natas changed that. Which in turn allowed mullen to progress street skating by adding freestyle technicality to it.

I always gave Rodney the nod over Daewon in their spots, despite both being God-tier imo. But I have to say, while Rodney does crazier things with his board, the board *is* an extension of Daewon's body like I've never seen in any other skater.
