- We've been getting requests for lutong bahay recipes lately, so here's another one -- our version of Sinigang na Hipon sa Bayabas.
In Pampanga, we call Sinigang sa Bayabas as "bulanglang" -- so we have Bulanglang Paro (shrimp), Bulanglang Bangus (milkfish), Bulanglang Babi (pork), and so on, and they are very different from the bulanglang from the other Philippine regions.

Nung bata ako ayaw na ayaw ko yan eh. May guava tree kami kaya mandalas magluto nyan. Naduduwal ako naaamoy ko palang. Pero yung may nagluto na ibang technique nagbago isip ko. Yan na favorite ko ngayon.

Just want you to know the one where you made taisan is my favorite baking vid of all time. I've watched it so many times. It's nice that it wasn't rushed and even showing how well you scrape wasn't edited out. As a home baker, I can totally relate because I'm the same way too.
