I am a fan of his. It is not falsetto. It is his natural voice and key. His pitch did not change much after puberty. He was kind of traumatized by comments from his peers, due to the stereotype you guys mentioned. He did not sing at all until in high school. Even now, some people are still judging him by that. Despite this, he is determined to sing and continues to improve. I am very grateful that he did not give up (it was not a smooth journey, though he is quite popular now), so we can hear such a beautiful voice.
In one of his videos, he has just finished a performance and kneeling on the floor by his bed in a hotel room and recorded a song called 'Think of me' from 'The Phantom of the Opera' to his fans by using only his phone and a very normal headset cover with a tissue. To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now. He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres. If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. A lots of people got to know him with the song called DALABENGBA, which was originally created for AI singers. The lyrics is simply to mock on most video games' 1. plot: prince save princess from evil, in this song the dragon; 2. name of the land or castle or character: super long and make up words. There are sound effects such as the horse steps, collected coin sounds in the music, really cute. Zhou Shen sang and act the story line out: dragon (with a bl@@dy long name) taken away the princess, so king asked who can save the princess, here we go, a prince comes along (with another super lengthy cut out breath long name) and rides to save the princess. He fights against beasts and dragon, eventually saved prince and they formed a happy family with a cute baby whose no doubt with a long long long name. Zhoushen gives each character a distinctive voice for this performance, just out of this world.
I saw someone on your comment section recommend a song called 'Heaven Island' for you guys to react to. This song is a scary lullaby. It was from a TV show which invite all kinds of artists from China to solve some murder cases. So Florasis is a makeup brand from China. You’ll see the actual makeup pieces here and there in the video. I don’t wear makeup but I want to own them because they’re all so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ I think this may be a music piece for the brand. I love his voice! His voice is so emotional.
His register belongs to countertenor, though he was never formally trained on it (this is his natural key and range). He majored in tenor in college. He uses a lot head voice, but he has been working on belting. I can recommend a few songs to showcase it, however, probably they are Chinese songs😀

To tell you a bit about Zhou Shen's background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to study Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Thank you again for reacting to Zhou Shen's performance.
A lots of people got to know him with the song called DALABENGBA, which was originally created for AI singers. The lyrics is simply to mock on most video games' 1. plot: prince save princess from evil, in this song the dragon; 2. name of the land or castle or character: super long and make up words. There are sound effects such as the horse steps, collected coin sounds in the music, really cute.
Zhou Shen sang and act the story line out: dragon (with a bl@@dy long name) taken away the princess, so king asked who can save the princess, here we go, a prince comes along (with another super lengthy cut out breath long name) and rides to save the princess. He fights against beasts and dragon, eventually saved prince and they formed a happy family with a cute baby whose no doubt with a long long long name. Zhoushen gives each character a distinctive voice for this performance, just out of this world.

His register belongs to countertenor, though he was never formally trained on it (this is his natural key and range). He majored in tenor in college. He uses a lot head voice, but he has been working on belting. I can recommend a few songs to showcase it, however, probably they are Chinese songs😀
