This is so freeing. I realize I shouldn't be afraid of changes because the stability is knowing God's with me at every emotion, every experience. Thank you Pastor Joe!
This is so timely for me P. Joe. My favorite movie and my favorite line as well in that movie. Super honest and true! Im closing a business next week. Not because it failed but its simply just the end of its season. It’s heartbreaking because it is personal to us and to our community. Despite all of the challenges, God indeed blessed our space. We did not only survived but thrived. Now, the plan is to open another business right after. I could see how God is orchestrating for this new business venture to happen despite knowing all the odds businesses face in this time of the pandemic. Leap of faith talaga toh. This whole exercise or event made me learn to acknowledge my cocktail of feelings and it taught me to practice to control my emotions so I dont unravel or burst. I can have a long sit down alone with God just being sad and depressed. Feel the feelings. Pray and pray- a lot of venting, seeking, surrendering, trusting, and listening to God about the every detail of my life. All thoughts and feelings needed to be expressed to God because (sabi din nga ni Rica)😅, God can handle it. What defines personal relationship is about being able to be free and honest and always laced all that with a ribbon of grace.
One of the principles I believe and live by says "God cannot bless where you pretend to be". I heard this from Pastor Mike Todd and it has ministered sa life ko tremendously. Through this simple phrase I was able to go deeper in my love and relationship with God. It's amazing that this revelation led me to freedom. I have never loved my Father the way I love Him now and I pray that by His grace I'll just go deeper and deeper. I want to be able to know Him more intimately and just soak in all the love Has for me. I want nothing more to stay here in His presence knowing I am loved despite my ugly truths, that His love changes me and transforms me not just because I have to but I want to ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, Pastor Joe! Would just like to thank you for doing vlogs. It is also refreshing to learn about God in a more "conversational" way. It feels like what you talk about in your vlogs are the ones I needed to hear. I hope God will continue to give you the energy to keep doing this, because it really helps people to know Him better. Thank you again!
Hallelujah! Nadiscover ko lang yan na RUclips Channel nila Pastor last week kasi naano ko sa heart ko na isearch kung may topic about that at yan na nga ang lumabas. God really wants us to grow and transition into a new level of spirituality, that is, an emotionally healthy one.
I remember the verse that says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Like saying your not angry yet the tone of your voice and ur body will say it so. 😅 No matter how hard you not acknowledge ur emotions it will come out. It is best to acknowledge it and be real with it because that's where God meets us.
Thank you Pastor Joe. It such a great reminder for all Christians. Sometimes we forget to be as who we are. We must realize that God wants us to be, a human that has a free will to choose and to express what our truly feel.
