Of course we can , some are trained , some are good , some can do barati ( *marriage procession* ) dance and last but not the least the famous visarjan ( *immersion* )dance as well . It depends on the people , but yeah all the people can dance .

They used to get backlash when they did a remake in beginning. But negative publicity is also a publicity which helped them gain more views than they deserve. They capitalised on that and it became a thing now.

In India, lots of singers redo their own songs for movies. Not all of the original versions are made for movies so they then redo their songs based on the requirements for the movie.

So now even if a song is recreated the makers try to keep the base and music instruments quite the same they just change some lyrics but still we appreciate the original ones ❤️😀

Also, because you were confused about the singers recreating their own songs, well after a song becomes popular or was popular, the music producers today buy the rights to it, or license it and get the original singer or the maker of the song to reprise it, in order to keep some sort of essence of the original, also it depends on the kind off deals made with the singer or maker of the original

The problem with remake is that they add some beat two lines of lyrics and take every credit like they have created it. They don't give credit to original composer,lyricist,music director etc
