I leave from Aachen and cross the border, entering Belgium, precisely at the point where three countries meet. In Wallonia, I feel a bit like I’m in Italy for several reasons, while Flanders transports me into a completely different world. I keep meeting extraordinary people who make me reflect. In Brussels, I discover fascinating new spots, while in Bruges I fall in love with yet another city. I never would have imagined being able to go to the sea in Northern Europe. However, I face great difficulties just to catch a simple ferry to the United Kingdom.
