I have a 2009 Suzuki Kingquad 500 with 5300 miles on it. About 500 miles ago it has started to backfire when I'm going about 40mph and I let off the throttle. Or if I'm going down a hill. Is there any cure for this? Maybe it's running lean. Would a fuel programmer help? Do the valves need to be adjusted? I took it to my dealer and they said a high flow air filter would help. So I bought a k&n. That still hasn't helped. Is my engine going down? If anyone can respond with some help I'll be highly greatful. God Bless
That one looked like fun Doug!
Do you guys ever ride around Bluff Ut? Specifically around the Bears Ears.

Sounds like it's running lean. If you've not had the valves adjusted I'd start there.
ATVTV I really appreciate your help. Thanks
Glad to help....
