Every time I hear the story of the Titanic it makes me cry. Even a piece of clothing, a pocket watch, boarding pass, it once was part of someone that may have lost their life that tragic night. It gets me every time. I cry for those who were lost and even those that survived. The good and the bad. History is so important. This one particularly breaks my heart every time. Thank you for posting

Every time I think of the sailing from Great Britain to the Us , I think of my great grandmother & her family coming to the US ,from Ireland. When my grandmother passed away in Boston the attic still had the traveling chests from various family members & my grandmothers Hope chest which I received because she willed it to me. I still have it & it still looks beautiful.

The story of the woman who died with her dog, because she didn't want to leave her dog behind and they found her with her dog in her arms made me tear up Jordan, thanks for sharing that story, the other story that you also shared was the guy who died because because he didnt want a child to lose a seat and die, he died a hero, also you were talking about the wife who chose to stay and die with her husband, they are Isador, and Ida Straus, you showed their framed portrait on the wall, they are actually in the James Cameron movie, they are holding each other in bed while the water is rising around them, do you remember that scene, Jordan, I remember it, but I seen the movie many times, how about you?

They should put in interesting facts that although they received 6 warnings on the 14th, Captain Smith actually changed course further South to avoid it. Also Titanic's radio was out most of the previous day so there was a backlog of messages.
It was also common practice of ships to travel at full speed until ice was actually sighted.
The Titanic followed all the rules of the time. They did nothing wrong and DID NOT ignore ice warnings.

What a coincidence… I just fell into a Titanic rabbit hole the last week. The RUclips channel Titanic: Honor and Glory (it’s the official channel for a video game of the same name still under development) has the entire Titanic mapped out inch-for-inch in Unreal Engine, and has a realtime simulation of the sinking using the best available information.
I wonder… when the Titanic started taking on water, could they have cut those massive anchors loose?

Instead of breaking the lock on a new ship they continued the voyage without them

Building never flooded before in 40 years. Rain was bad but they can't see how it could have flooded the museum with three inches of water. He noted there has been paranormal activity in the building before.

If ismay was being pressuring, more people would have likely heard it since it was in the reception room.

It has been proven time and time again that weak rivets didn't cause or contribute to the sinking of the titanic (even oceanline designe done a whole series on it and said it was completely impossible for weak rivets to cause the sinking due to how the rivets where made, placed and thickness. He even done a bit about a fire on the ship and even that he said it was completely impossible because of how reinforced the bow was (so the fire would be contained to the cold room and wouldn't spread to the outside of the ship) I wish people would look/do their research before jumping on the social media band wagon and speculate "what happened" to actually want happened and that was an iceberg hit the side of the ship due to negligence of everyone on deck that night including the captain of the ship (for ignoring warnings of iceberg fields approaching).
