Everyone, Republican or otherwise has their own particular part to play. No part is too great or too small, no one is too old or too young to do something. Bobby Sands
While we toil in field and shop never to receive bt a portion of the value of it and prices rise and rise when laughter turns too crys of hunger we will all weep

If you know your Irish History, the IRB came before the IRA. They were eventually pushed into using bombs, etc after the British set the Black n Tans on the civilian population.
Not the most well known of republicans, but he has the best commemorative song written in his memory imo. And this performance is surely the best of the best.
A grand tune indeed ! However, it is an American composition called ARAGON MILL, composed by Si Khan - so not an original. But what the heck, still a good tune and song !
First time hearing this which is FD up can't take 6 years to resch the bavk end of vonamara ,where people still think in Irish/gaeilge no insult to anybody ! Got asked that question 10or maybe more years ago teaching Irish students i mo ghaeltacht fein!it kinda both !if I told my auld fella nó no mhathair that I think in English! Put it this way they wouldn't understand .lol
John C why are the ira terrorists for killing civilians, most of which were either informers or accidental, but the British army are hero’s? If one group are terrorists then both are there is no debate in it. The only difference was ira volunteers were impression for their “crimes” but the British army weren’t. And I say “crimes” as I’m sure a lot were imprisoned for either killing war combatants or possession charges or membership charges, I’d agree anyone who intentionally killed innocents deserved to be jailed.
strombolus dad were the Warrenpoint bombers terrorists? Were the ira soldiers who killed British soldiers Terrorists? I can admit when the ira did wrong and like I said any ira member who intentionally murdered deserves to still be in jail. I don’t see many from the other side ready to say the same about British army or even loyalist paramilitaries
