0:02 this bug is very consistent and drives me nuts when im using block weapons. In fact, this video should be sent to saber to show how often it happens! This is NOT a fencing bug - its a parry bug!
But is balance hammerino assaultus any good? Like, +1 speed is kinda nice in a vacuum but in reality you never end up chaining attacks because of endless gaunt grabs and thus never experience the benefit. Also charged attacks, which is the main dmg source, don’t get affected by speed. And what does cleave potential even do anyway?? I can’t imagine a world where I’d pick balance hammer over fencing/block as of now.
The speed allows you to chain faster into any attacks, heavy included. The benefit there is fairly obvious since you can easily get 1 more hit in where other versions may not. The grab doesnt happen as often as you think but even then you dont really want to light attack into a horde, as a uncharged heavy does largely the same thing with smaller risk. Cleave is a modifier to the pre existing 'cleave' parameter of a weapon's specific attack. It does not mean how many enemies you can hit but rather how many more or fewer enemies this weapon can hit using a specific attack. For example, Power whirl on the powersword has a max target of 20 enemies. With gathalamor crusade (fencing), you have a -4 modifier meaning youre only capable of hitting 16 enemies, whereas the Warden Blade alpha (block) you can hit up to 26 enemies due to the +6 cleave modifier.
@@sturmmagnunstein1008 havent played since patch. Glad it got changed to work on block weapons. Still sad classes like assault dont get to use the gunstrike team perk and the one that gives armor on non-finisher gun perks as efficiently. Sure you could still farm perfect dodges but its not as convenient as the gunstrike from parries
I just played the vox liberatis map, and this game is now fucked beyond belief. First of all. The spawns in the first open area was first a triple massive wave of tyranids. Then the area where the first seal is we get spawns behind us at the moment of engsging the enemies around the seal. So we kill them off. Reup my ammo and then 3 chaos portals open at the same time with 2 flying trolls and 9 chaos marines and one sorcerer. Then at the point where you open the door and all the small guys are together with the chaos marines spawns in a boss mob once we spawn the sorcerer by breaking the seal. Then at the arena with the water in the middle Dont remember their name. Suddenly the game thinks its time to spawn in even more enemies before we even get up the stairs. Im starting to get so fed up by this game now. And the block? Dont get me started. Im gonna read up on it. But what the fuck? What is really the difference between the block weapons and the balance weapon? That you have the chance of getting your armor back after gett full stacked when enemies dont attack you if you try it with a bulwark. It just doesnt work if the enemies dont attack and by the way we were playing on ruthless i didnt want to bang my head against heads and extremis enemies all over the place. So what the fuck are they doing. And by the way. My flag doesnt work to get my health back anymore.
that finale really is dogsh1t. Oh, the faction that has the worst problem with ranged attacks being spammed? Why dont we throw a bunch of these notoriously awful enemies at you that RESPAWN on top of that. And put ammo at the worst possible location (in the middle with ZERO cover), on top of no other supply points in the arena. They really played it and thought WOW this is a great finale. This op is perfect up until that point where upon is just a hard gear check. Repurpose the bloody terminators and make the rubricae melee units, and chaos ops will instantly improve 10 fold.

0:00 is this a bug new update, this happened to me while i was fighting carnifex with bulwark fencing after tthe recent patch
Block chainsword is also very good with its speed and damage.
Block weapons in general are popping now, Hammer is probably the worst one and it still slaps
Bulwark feels really powerful I do agree. I needed to better understand the block change but the bulwark feels like an immovable tank
but the speed tho, fencing sword is much faster
Naa, only slightly faster (there are 2 balanced swords)
@ the other one is trash

whatbuild you do?
Block sword + SHIELD how would be(??)
As good as you imagine it to be.
Well you lose out on parry and every parry effect like the shock, and aoe
@1999worldjacob might want to reread the perks, mate. All perks that trigger on parry works on blcok
