Fantastic job on the dimple shutter lock Bill. No need to say 'Jump to 11 mins", we want to watch you pick it. It's a great way to learn.
Thanks for posting and taking the time to share this lock with us 😁👍🏻
I bet no one minds longer lockpicking videos so dont apologize for taking our time. We love to watch this~ thanks Bill ❤
Excellent picking, Bill. It would be interesting to see you reassemble this lock, perhaps speeded up.
Nah the picking comes in a package
You can’t have the review without it.
Happy retirement BosnianBill!! Its totally understandable! We will miss you, and hope to maybe see you in some special guests in other videos some day. Enjoy the family and Thank you for all that you have shared with us!
Glad you got this one evicted and Bill honestly you never waste any of our time, thanks!
The missing spring shot off frame right after you removed the core from the lock before you realized the sticker that held on the retainer was flapping in the breeze.
Perfect way to pass 18 1/2 minutes. This guys guttings are the most entertaining thing on the internet. Good job Bill. 👍
Due to the pandemic you are not allowed to perform an eviction. You are such a rebel.
Unless it was a blue coat....
The only lawyer I know of who would represent locks would probably evict it, too! 😂
Lol
No thanks. We are in this together.
I've missed these long videos, I've always liked the long raw videos u used to do in the past
Thank you very much Bill, I really enjoy you taking the time to show us how to gut locks and some of the pitfalls that we might encounter.
Spring exited top right of the camera 😂
oh my man given the current times this is the most unfortunate video title ever LOL, thanks for the lesson! always a pleasure to learn with ya
Bill 'advance to XX:XX for opening.'
(Everyone else) Nooooo! We gotta watch it all.
11:12 for those who indeed want to skip. Though i reccomend not to. The picking is the best of this channel~ even kinda ASMR-like when he picks locks like this.
The tensioner just collapsed from exhaustion and hung there.
Thanks for showing how difficult rather than how easy some of these locks are. Keep showing the **** ups please
Congrats on the eviction Bill! Always a good feeling. The old adage rings true here, no substitute for the right tool, and a quality tool! My set is on its way! 👍🏻
Scary Halloween lock. All that time and expense for one (long) video, a lockpicker could go broke. Thanks Bill!
Hey Bill, @ 13:30 - Missing no-megger spring goes a flying -
this would be impossible on the street, excellent lock and well worth paying for
Thank you for all of the knowledge and entertainment! I hope that you have a lovely retirement. :)
Ps. Way to not give up on this big guy!
Very patient pick job.
I like the pins within the pin on those locks
That little spring jumped out over your right thumb, at 13:30, when you first peeled back that sticky tape. I think it ended up in the top right compartment of your pin tray.
Looks like an IFAM Huno copy, but a very good copy.... I love those kind of padlocks, they are a complete challenge to pick. Thanks for sharing!
That was cool..what a nasty lock Bill, but you beat it. Good Job 👍
This lock is way beyond my skill level. Fun to watch though.
Nice picking, Bill. Well done!
Some fascinating design choices on that one... but regardless, nice pick! That warding definitely looked tough.
Great picking and video. Keep going through the naughty bucket!!
I'd like to send you the locks in my naughty bucket but I would be embarrassed by how easy you would get them open
That was a fight 👍 well done.
Seems like a lock sold at that high of a price-point, would have more than just tape securing those chamber caps. I guess it works though. It would be interesting to see how that tape holds up, once it's subjected to temperature changes & moisture from being used outdoors for a year.
It doesn't have to hold up all that much. The little brass plate it hold will be kept in place by the lockbody. The tape is only there for (dis)assembly....not important during operation.
Yeah it seems the tape is just used for assembly
Congratulations on the successful eviction :D
Good job !
Nice lock. That thing seem heavy duty
Nice work Bill.
P. S. thanks for fixing the missing "s" sounds a while back Bill :) Took me a while to notice what was not wrong anymore
1:15 I wonder if the "nasty bitting" even matters as much in dimple locks where you slide the pick not under but next to the pins
I may be talking out my ass here, but I'm willing to bet those drivers are hollow to allow the spring to fit inside them otherwise you would need a spring so short it wouldn't put enough pressure on the pins.
Great job
This should be a giveaway, giveaway, giveaway...! Nice pick! And no, we don't mind a messy gutting--it's seeing the guts that's important!
Thanks very cool
Too slow Bill, the bomb would've went off. Lol. Great job getting it open!🍺🤓🇦🇺
*The Adventures of Captain Dimple Ep 25*
Capt: "We're in the penthouse now Sargent. High class facilities at last!"
Sgt: "There's a Mr Paracideric at the key way. He says we have to get out."
Capt: "What do you mean get out?"
Sgt: "Something about rent. He says the owner sent him, you remember, that guy from Bosnia."
Capt: "You tell him we're on a special mission with the DIA! (Dimple Intelligence Agency)
_Later on the tray_
Sgt: "We were doing ok until he sent that big guy in."
Capt: "Oh shut up and give me that machine oil, my butt's sore!"
Good job 👍
One of the springs shot off to your right
Would love to see a reassemble video
given the fight this thing is putting up in perfect picking conditions, I figure this lock is a pretty good lock. If its on a door or something else it wont be in a perfect position with good lighting or facing someone at this skill level. this forces the criminals to use destructive entry, which tends to be louder and more likely to attract attention.
I wonder if you put heat to that lock if the tape would fail enough to allow the pins to come out. It probably would cause something to seize up before it'd allow the plug to turn.. Just something that crossed my mind.
Great video and good job picking this tough lock. How much more difficulty is presented out in the field if you did not have a clamp to brace it in?
Probably made on a Friday afternoon just before finishing time, and the guy just stuck the caps on with tape so he could go home on time
Use this lock as a padlock Reefer make shipping containers so it would be good
Very nice! Did you get it back together?
Anyone else find themselves holding their breath while listening for clicks while he was picking?
LOL This lock would need to see if you were able to get it back together and have it work
great job!
Hey Sonny, I wanna see you put that thang back together! 😕
Can I have a question? Why are you lockpicking locks up side down (pins are up, not down), is it giving you some advantage?
PS: Please, apologize my english.
US pins go up. EU/UK pins go down. There's a slight picking advantage to US lock orientation in that it's a tiny bit easier to tell when a pin is set, since the key pin will move freely instead of sitting on the driver. So "set" and "overset" feel more obviously different. But it's minor, mostly just what the picker is used to.
@@PeregrineBF Thanks for answer, have a nice day
That is a great 🔐
My 2 Mul T locks that won’t set any pins, must be similar to this. My dimple picks raise all pins to at least the 2nd or third cuts and when you raise the flag, the shaft lifts the pins behind it. Coming in from the right side, to tackle each pin individually is very hard to get under the pin. Wish I could figure out a way of moving forward with either of them. I’ve tried custom picks using my 301 high yield steel, but still not one pin on either will bind, grrrrr🤬🤬🤬😭😭🤣🤣♥️♥️♥️
So weird that this is about Eviction as I just had two sub video Yours and Vox (Eviction in America) both videos 8 mins ago.
I love a good gutting disaster.
How hard would it be to pick if it were on a door outside.
Your amount of patience is epic! Do you hunt, have you ever sought out Steve Rinela on the Meat Eater podcast?
he was a fed, he hunted bombs, and bad guys.
use? a feeler gauge first. its a piece of plastic bottle?
I wonder how long it actually took you to reassemble it, what happens if you can't find the spring?
Don't put that pin back in(bad) or find another spring. I save parts from locks because I'm a locksmith so I'd find one somewhere!
@@skygh I saw the spring jump out and thought to myself that it would be really tough to find that thing since it is so tiny.
@@robertoswalt319 I've had springs, retaining clips and screws leave the universe right before my eyes.
Morning Bill, happy Monday
Well Evicted
I wish locks weren't so expensive lol, i would love to get really challenging locks to practice on but not for more then $100
Can barely get a basic cylinder at that price.
If that's part of the weekend giveaway and I win, could always use it as a paperweight!
Also, at what point Bill thought that was going back in the naughty bucket?
layman here! what does it mean for a pin to "mush"?
lockpicking lawyer did a simular vid. on this style lock.
Can I ask you the video number of that video?
nice
Great video, Time Well wasted....
10/10
⚠️ Hi Bill, when you say “mush” do you mean mushy?
Hello!
Where the H do you get these locks? They aren't very practical!
Perfect shape for locking the hasp on a storage locker or garden shed. Also great for the end of a massive chain or steel shutters. Once locked onto something, the shackle/shutter can't be reached with bolt cutters or other tools.
14:31 Bill did a magic trick with that spring. You have to slow the video down to see what he did, he hit his finger with the spring and then it.. sprung ;)
Hey bill
That was worth $125
You've said many times you gut looking through your camera. I think this is why you mess up so often. It is entertaining, but also a little frustrating. Can't you arrange it so you can see what you're doing?
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Bill showed this lock the door. That was my pathetic attempt at a pun. My apologies everyone.
Hello i love your channel!! But do you have any automotive locksmith videos like mine?? Have you seen them!! Take care buddy!!
Ooff..."Eviction" is probably not a word you want to be associated with. Especially in 2020-2021...

There's still the scratching noise on the microphone. It's very irritating.
