- The Helikon Cumulus Fleece was something that jumped out to me as I was looking around the Military 1st website, and after checking it out - yes, I like it. It comes in 4 different colors and is warm and comfortable, plus I think it looks cool too. Check it out!

Incredible! I just ordered it 2 days ago (still waiting for delivery). The best reviews I found were in Slovakian (I'm Polish so could understand a bit) and nothing substantial in English- and here's you and your review :)
Sweet.
Hey, do you have an update on the product after 2 years? Did you like it?
Great video fleece looks great for cross country skiing! YKK zips deserve their own video!
I too have been looking at this fleece to buy. I’m very impressed with the Helikon PCS Smock I just bought. It’s just what I was looking for at a good price.
Under appreciated channel. Thankyou for your reviews.
I appreciate those words. Very kind of you.
great review, i love this fleece and wear it most days if not raining, to work. Usually with one layer (polo / shirt) underneath. In windy conditions though i would recommend a few layers as i can feel the breeze coming though it, but everyone feels things differently....ive also got hot in it!! haha
It's definitely already frigid in NH, wind is really dropping the temp!
Huh, same Helikon that does gear like those cool fanny packs I've been eyeballing for a while now... going to have to check it out. I hear really good things about their gear.
@Tim of everydaytacticalvids thank you for introducing me to military1st , i have been a consumer for the past two years . please let them know that you gave them good reference and excellent advertisement even though i mentioned to them on three occasions that it was you that introduced me to them . I am thinking of buying two of the Cumulus and I wonder if they can give you the pentagon hard shell Monsoon for a review ? Thank you Tim and i wish you all the best of all he wholesome good things to be yours .
hani karam Thanks for that comment. Glad you connected with them. And yes, I’m thinking about reviewing that jacket. I’m looking into it now.
@@EverydayTacticalVids thanks for the reply Tim i just bought two of them but i am wondering about the sizes are over sized . All the best of good stuff to you take care .
i read somewhere that helikon is a sister company of direct action. looking forward to your vids on their other products (especially their packs and pouches) and also looking foward to your coverage of shot show 2019. great vid as always.
It's rather the other way round. Helikon-Tex is a Polish company founded 35 years ago. They recently started Direct Action as their sister company.
Gearing up to head out. Actually texting with David from Ultimate Survival Tips this moment about it.
@@ryc3rz thanks for the info.
So it's listed to be 320g/m2 (= 9.44 oz/sq yard). Their Patriot fleece jacket is heavier at 390g/m2 (= 11.5 oz/sq yard). I'm just wondering what would you call a real heavy weight fleece- would you have some example of what you would consider a heavy fleece product (make/model) so I could check it out?
I"m not sure if this is the one, but I had an L.L. Bean Fleece years ago that was heavier and more 'dense' fleece than this one. This is solid - don't get me wrong - but I've seen even heavier fleece: www.llbean.com/llb/shop/120785?page=men-s-l-l-bean-sweater-fleece-full-zip-jacket&bc=12-26-593&feat=593-GN1&csp=f
I have their patriot fleece.. Great stuff. thanks
I may have to check that one out
@@EverydayTacticalVids i´ve got the Patriot but I don´t like that plastic stuff. You´re sweating or you freeze (specially when it´s windy). Fleece is just recycled plastic bags. Greetz from Germany.
@@Ayka557 Good to hear that info - thanks.
Please make the Helikon Poncho review... :)
it's a poncho.
I was just looking to purchase this same jacket but wasn't sure what size to order. Your review definitely sealed the deal. I usually wear a large but read some reviews where it states to order a size larger. Do you normally wear an XL or a large? Would you suggest ordering a size up?
Yeah I'd probably do a size up as well.
@@EverydayTacticalVids Thank you for the quick reply!
@@lmartin5251 Glad to help out.
The shoulder area looks small ?
What would you recommend for 1.80 tall/sporty guy?
Hello Tim i hope you are in good health and i wish you well . I have been a subscriber for a while and became a client of Military1st.com because of you and which I have informed them so . mt question is are the sizes of this Helikon Cumulus over sized or sizes are bang on cause on a french video the guy said that they are way over sized and suggested that it is better to get one and or two sizes smaller so then what are your thoughts please ?
hani karam This one fits true to size on me. Maybe a tiny bit small for me.
@@EverydayTacticalVids What's your height?
Thanks for sharing !
Yeah for sure - thanks watching.
Intresting... thanks! / Krister
The Condor stuff runs kinda small, is the Helikon stuff true to size?
Maybe a little bit small but not much.
@@EverydayTacticalVids thanks
Hey buddy, which size do you wear in this video ? thx
This is an XL.
@@EverydayTacticalVids I just figured out you actually say it at 1:41 ahaha, sorry mate and thx for your reply, nice review i subscribed and pushed the blue thumb up ;)
@@Grooove57 All good - thanks for watching and the sub and like.
is this item generous in sizing?
I wouldn't say so. It's a LITTLE slim for the sizing.
@@EverydayTacticalVids I'll knock that off the want list, thanks, would need at least xxxl doubt it would be big enough
@@HellYeahBigKev i have the Alpha fleece in xxxl and this one in XXL, dont like things to hugging me!, it fits fine on me. with Mil1st, you can order, try and free returns if you find it doesn't fit.... i have no link to them, i just buy loads from them due to their excellent customer service!
@@bh537 yeah might give it a try from Mil 1st thanks
