As a DSF faller I built A LOT of helipads working fires. The long trudge up usually with a safety. Another talented fella on a saw. All over British Columbia. Glad I haven't forgotten those days. We were a team and have known him for almost 50 years and a bit. This road (We can call it) Brings back more memories when I hauled 10 wide camp units all over these mountains. Mid 20's and in the zone eh, LOL. More thoughts of sitting on a freshly cut stump eating watermelon in a snowstorm LOL. It was hot when I was in camp. Thanks a bunch for this trip down memory lane. In a wheelchair so no more busting big wood way up there any more. Thanks again Bjarne.
Spectacular scenic drive, man those huge boulders were impressive, I'd hate to get hit by the ones that are tumbling down onto the road, yeah. Cheers for filming and sharing that scenery of your trip Bjarne. The Helipad looks a bit wonky on the left side or is that just my old eyes lol...
Bjarne: thanks! Best video yet. *****. You cut/rip all your own lumber using the same saws/chains as for felling? And I presume all trees cut are heli-hauled out? Amazing stuff. Thanks again.
Ya gotta be way up on the north end of Van Isle ... a long way into the boonies on logging roads...hows the camp??? good food and accomodations or ???other than that??

Thanks for sharing that. This work touches people so profoundly that it always owns a part of you.
@@fajitaboys It really is my church. Myself and many, many more of us.
When all the B-roll is A-roll and all the A-roll is A+ you know you have a good thing going:-) Another perfect day on the mountain.
Thanks for taking me along Bjarne, made my night!
Absolutely beautiful country! You're very blessed to have a work setting like that!
New camp, new heli pad, and a new block to cut.....what's not to like?? Cheers Bjarne, work safe!!
Having your tools delivered by helicopter to you Awesome!
That was cool traveling. I was thinking you probably started bottom that valley .
Beautiful views Bjarne ! Thanks
Thanks Bjarne, that drive up the mountain along with commentary was fun - I’m always interested in heli pad builds - cheers
Hey Bjarne, I didn't realize Richard is your Dad. Great guy😊
Great channel! Always enjoy!
I've driven across bridges like that first bridge. Been awhile since I've seen one like that.

Any logs needing to be ripped are with a 6ft bar with ripping chain and usually a 088, 3120?, 395

Could those blue floats be an oyster/ mussel farm, saw similar in sechelt inlet back in late 80’s
👍👍👍
Ya that’s a causeway on the salt chuck, not a lake lol.
Incredible country you are in! In what area of BC are you? Mainland or Vancouver Island? It would be nice to know. Thanks.
Awal nya tanah di depan salju semua jalan , 😮 udara nya pasti enak sekali buat kerja menebang pohon dingin
was that piece of wood that came flying back dangerously close to that feller’s head? Look; Just as that tree was barely off the stump.
Bjarne there gold in them hill buddy 😊. Find a gold vale be better them cutting timber at $1900 per oz 😊
Do u cut your own timber or is it flown in, the boards and stuff I mean
Selam arkadaşım manzaralar harika kolay gelsin
Hey Bjarne, do you have the helicopter drop off the boards for the helipad or are you cutting them from freshly felled trees?
They mill it all with their chainsaws right there at the pad.
Looks like you need to replace the windshield on your truck
What is the sound track you used
👌👍
Is this on the island or the mainland?
Vancouver ISLAND, but it’s still possible that it’s not the mainland of the island.
I am sure you have answered my question many times but why don’t you ware.gloves??
