If he REALLY was a rescuer, he would have picked it up IMMEDIATELY, stuck it in his coat to keep it safe and warm and would have made a soft bed for it when he got it home instead of just plopping it down on the cold tile floor. NOT ONCE did he wrap it in a soft blanket or towel or hold it close to his body so it felt safe. In addition, the comment shown on the screen didn't coordinate with the film. And, of course, there's the corny music. He staged this with a puppy he may have "borrowed" from someone else. HE IS VILE!!
