This is not a film-it's a filmstrip--the beeps are the cues to move to the next slide--Note the wheel discs--they are not whitewalls--they only cover the wheels--they were utilized after WWII as actual whitewall tires were not available due to war priorities--I had a 1946 Dodge with them

Was this a 35mm filmstrip? Images seem really blurry, like an old VHS tape.

They actually were made in 33mm slide format. The beep you hear is the indication for the projectionist to go to the next slide.

Rude people called these "pregnant elephants". I'm not going to stoop to that level

The beginning of Packard's death spiral. A little over 92,000 cars sold compared to almost 700,000 for sales leader, Chevrolet. Packard sold 100,000 only one more time after 1948, before before sales tanked.

Yes, the war affected the sales of Packard, as they hasd just revamped the line of vehicles prior to the war, and after the war the could never quite get it right.
