Tom McCahill.A car to be made for old Dowagers in a queen Mary hat.A pregnant Elephant look like the bathtub Nashes of the same era. They use to languish in used car lots and were popular with funeral homes in stretched versions.I refuse to be driven to school in it from embarrassement. My dad owned one from 1953 to 1964.It was a former funeral home that had changed hands.I can still smell the formaldehyde !"Ask the the man whos father owned one "".
This is not a film-it's a filmstrip--the beeps are the cues to move to the next slide--Note the wheel discs--they are not whitewalls--they only cover the wheels--they were utilized after WWII as actual whitewall tires were not available due to war priorities--I had a 1946 Dodge with them
The beginning of Packard's death spiral. A little over 92,000 cars sold compared to almost 700,000 for sales leader, Chevrolet. Packard sold 100,000 only one more time after 1948, before before sales tanked.
Yes, the war affected the sales of Packard, as they hasd just revamped the line of vehicles prior to the war, and after the war the could never quite get it right.
"Get Reinhart in here right now! This car looks like an upside down bathtub!"

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate the corrections
Was this a 35mm filmstrip? Images seem really blurry, like an old VHS tape.
They actually were made in 33mm slide format. The beep you hear is the indication for the projectionist to go to the next slide.
Rude people called these "pregnant elephants". I'm not going to stoop to that level
ASK THE MAN WHO WRECKED ONE !!!!!!!
