Well, for one thing, farmers usually get at least some level of tax exemption on fuels.
For another thing: it's called lying. They are lying to us.
Farmers are paying more for fuel because of the carbon tax, just like everybody else. That adds to the price of the food and the transportation costs to get the food into the stores. This Liberal government is driving all of these prices up.
