Never underestimate the appearance of the individual in marketing, let me detail it for you. A sixty-five-year-old university professor, known around campus for her big kinky salt and pepper Afro, for her recent book cover, it was suggested her picture not appear on its cover. If she insisted, her handlers would want her to dye her hair ridding her appearance of her gray hair, or taken to the extreme, dress her in a straight hair wig. Taken aside, her marketing handlers were too ashamed to openly suggest not having her picture on the book cover at all, since there is little that can be done concerning her very dark skin.
A marketing manager of female talent pitches one in his abundant stable of gaudy looking women to appear in a commercial on television, her hair is dyed blond, with pouting red glossy lips. In the meantime, an opening became available for a co-anchoring spot on one of the all-news cables, without missing a beat or changing the appearance of the woman for the television commercial, she is sent out to the cable to audition, and guess what, she got the job. For women in the marketplace practicing journalism, gaudiness is in, and looking trashy can be a plus too.
LORD I am that woman! I need an answer for several reasons and to keep my car, or get the better, fully paid car, and the income to pay ahead all my, our monthly Bill's. I cannot believe that I am the only person on earth, made by you, that has no potential or income. That will never see my grandchildren, No, that is not you. I never hurt anyone and don't care to hold grudges for those that try to withhold, or interfere. I know you. In JESUS' name you did not bring Dr. Winston into my life several years ago for me to still be in these situations. My brain is high functioning, and worry everdsy over getting the amounts I need is not your way for me. So I'm not giving up or in; I'm healing, and so a prayer, climb the hill in Tulsa, and in the name of JESUS I demand the $ owed comes now, computers release my money, I am a tither! Also solutions beyond to leave these situations under my feet.
