Longpole's should have their own fastest shot competition. Not fair to the shorties.
I played lacrosse growing up in Maryland. We moved to south central Pa. in 1992. There were no teams up there, and nobody knew how to play. I ended up in wrestling since that was the big sport, along with football.

This definitely didn't sell me on Lacrosse as a sport...
Yeah…. Please do not use this as a marker for lacrosse as a whole… all of the leagues have had to try “fun it up” for the kids/ appease the larger corporate overlords…. The players do however reallllllllly want to compete and play balls out as pros. Even while having to hold down normal jobs. Peace ✌🏼 thanks for giving the sport a chance though….

As a goalie…. The goalie competition is dumb and will get someone hurt/ increases unnecessary risk
It’s literally their job to save the ball. It’s 15 yards out, not a crease crank. I don’t think they would compete if they felt unsafe.
Freestyle was rather boring and repetitive. Can we see something besides jumping between the legs shots?
