Well, I can't argue with the shocks, or the hydrolock issue, or the transmissions, and I'm not even going to TRY with the horsepower figures. That said, pressurized fuel systems and oil systems could be a thing, and given Tezla's propensity for having special shit just laying around, isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility. I mean, the time between the Lava Realm and the start of the second movie is how long, precisely? However long it was, Tezla managed to whip up Might Morphin' Power Treads for everyone's cars, and control systems to match.
@@matthew_natividad The Accelerons actually made the Realm act friendly to the drivers, these are locations they messed around with if they're not completely made by them as quite literally, the beings are a Type IV Civilization or atleast around that, maybe Type III because they're not entirely gods as we see they're still organic creatures but that wouldnt explain how they have no lips and speak telepathically or a different ethereal way which maybe they are Type IV but still organic and living.
Please read this....As a huge fan of this movie growing up as a kid and now as well, it’s really good to see that there are people still talking about the series especially you going into so much detail and edits lol to get your point across so I thank you, just one question, How did wlyde not blow up or his car not take any cosmetic damage when he got shitted on by the spikes wrecking ball in the junk realm 😂?
To be honest, wylde probably would have been gored apart in real life so i think they just couldnt show that😂 thanks for those kind words! Means a lot to me man
I think the cosmic realm should get a pass here, considering it's a track in another dimension (a dimension where space isn't a vacuum). I'm less sure about the water realm, maybe the water has a higher level of surface tension? Anyway, great video! I'm watching the other one now.
Heres the thing though: the water realm actually makes sense. If a car is going very quickly (like almost 200 miles per hour) it can drive across water for VERY short distances. You can experience this when the weather is bad and you hit a bad puddle. The reason why you lose traction is because for a very brief second, your tire isnt touching the ground cause its spinning so fast it doesnt break the surface tension. So while its not possible for as long as they did in the water realm over those gaps, its slightly based in reality
As a car guy for year I was feeling the exact same while watching this, but hey still enjoyed it a lot so lol. Thanks for posting the video on this old show though!
I love how he goes deep in all the cars physics and why they’re bullshit and I’m just here thinking how could sweepers enter realms at 300mph. If Vert’s 1100HP car in the final race wouldn’t realistically reach. I wouldn’t want to imagine just how ridiculously slow a sweeper would go in real life lol
Fan theory for both movies: The drivers themselves have secretly been administered nanites by Dr. Tezla via lacing their food with said nanites that enhance their strength and durability, protecting them from various degrees of harm. He did not use the nanites for himself because of his ego, but his exo-suit that he uses in Acceleracers functions as a substitute to the strength and durability enhancing nanites as well as a crutch.

I wonder what the g-forces would be going around the acceladrome loop at 300mph. Astronauts usually pull 3g on launch and reentry and fighter-pilots pull 9g in extreme maneuvers. Both careers require peak human conditioning. Now, the drivers aren't couch-potatoes, they are probably above average (Most of the Metal-Mainiacs probably take steroids)but could they still handle the g-forces without passing out?
There are some cars that could reach 300+mph in their last gear, such cars include: The 2013-2019 Ford Shelby GT500, with a differential ratio of 3.31 and 6th gear ratio of 0.5, as well as 285/35R20 rear tires, it can reach 350 mph in 6th gear at 7000 rpm redline.
While you're on the subject of Hot Wheel's children shows/movies, have you considered reviewing Battle Force 5? That's one of my favorite shows from my childhood, and I have been curious lately how those vehicles work.
Ive been thinking about it, but im just not sure. I grew up with it too, but the technology might be too alien to work. That said i DO enjoy a challenge
This is awesome! Keep up the good work! By the way, maybe make a video about the good things in Acceleracers? It would be great! But I do not insist) Watch the analysis of nonsense is pretty cool)
Horsepower isn’t a factor because every car once in the realm can go 300mph in the realms. And in realms card in the card game talks about cars going 300 mph in multiple situations. And sometimes stuff doesn’t have to make sense to to be good but I get when u analyze it in detail it goes out of wack. But still it’s kids tv show and movies for one that love hot wheels they won’t really care it just fun to watch. I get your pov tho.
I just like seeing what happens when I apply real world logic to cartoons lol. In reality, ive always loved these shows, i even rewatched them all last week! Im kinda viewing these as little love letters to the series, as now, even 14 years later, I still catch myself thinking about them. However, I am going to have to disagree with the horsepower being a factor. Fake or not, its supposed to take place in our universe, with our laws of physics. If you have these full sized cars reaching 300 miles per hour, they can NOT only have 500 horsepower. Thanks for the insight though, I appreciate you watching!
@@unbalencedspirit4937 it would take some extreme weight reduction. Like cars in the triple digit weight pounds wise. Also some extreme gear ratios in the transmission and/or differential, which would then add more weight and then come back to square one of the car being too heavy. While it may be possible, i don't believe we have the technology to do so
@@unbalencedspirit4937 True, but those are all components that make up the powertrain of a vehicle and are the deciding factor for the speed of a vehicle. And you can only take engine modification so far until you need to sacrifice weight for durability and such. I'm not saying it's IMPOSSIBLE, I'm just saying it's impossible with our CURRENT technology and understanding of the world.
also the pressure of the water realm, comparing the fishes to real life ones makes the water realm at least 3000 mts below the sea level. once they enter the pressure would instantly implode the entire car and leave nothing but scrap metal and a bloody pulp
Not sure if I said this and my comment was deleted as I deleted my account for a bit but about the bizarre air physics of the Water and Cosmic Realm, it's pretty clear the Accelerons made sure it's friendly to the drivers and vehicles so for example, there is actual air in both Realms.
What you expect? It's for kids, it's not supposed to be realistic, but interesting for kids... And yeah I know, watching this movie as a car guy hurts. I feel you man...
Dam what a dedication lol, all think is like legos lol. I imagine my self like this hotwheels movies when i was a little kid. To me this was awesome movies. I think they implemented the durability of a hotwheels vs a cheap car made from plastic. "At the end a kid wakes up from a dream he was having about hotwheels" don't you think like that? P.S. it's like saying grafield is real..................
Honestly same here I loved these movies and still do! I watched them all again like a couple weeks ago😂. I just like to rip apart movies, especially with car physics
What if I told you... that I agree and love this video and the Highway 35 one and STILL love the entire series. Lol seriously though man - grew up with everything from Highway 35 to Ultimate Race. Got most of the 35 and some of the Acceleracers. Always loved the series and love how your video looks at the cars, tracks and logic of the movies. Keep it up! Side question - what's your favorite car from the original 35 and the Acceleracers?
I just guess that they have an extra gear and nitrous 2.0 and basically slam any engine straight to 2000hp or something. Maybe they also have many reverse gears as well. Let's just put most of it to Dr Tesla being a genius who somehow modifies the cars to fit every problem. Like suspension that can shift to off-road mode for jumps and cars that can stop water from entering the engine. But their driving tips are great. Been helping me at racing games. And the music. Oh and technically, most of the characters weren't in world race.
Afaik as the unrealism, my guess is that the Racing Realms were built using different laws of physics (because the Accelerons were alien demons on wheels).....yet that still doesn't explains some of the other unrealistic shit like 300 mph motorcycles and the fact that all the MM cars are made out of junk parts according to the series bios yet they can go 300 mph and not rip apart instantly.
Believe it or not, the junk parts actually make sense. Most people that build up cars on a budget will go to the junkyard to get some parts, myself included. As for the physics, i do believe they're the same in the realm, as they only reach 300 mph entering (and maybe leaving) them. If you look at the speedometer during the series, they usually are between 150mph and 180mph!
@@spoilerz9795 true that. I actually didn't consider that about the junk parts (I assumed the fact that Dr Tezla claimed in one if the bonus features that said the Metal Maniacs cars were built out of junk parts yet were somehow faster than most commercial jets to be ludicrous) I also still question just how Vert was able to catch up to Gelorum in the Cliffside Realm by just jumping 400 feet off the track and landing just fine. Lmao
@@spoilerz9795 also worth noting that Wylde would have been instantly killed by the Junk Realm swinging spikes at the velocity his car was going and the way the spikes flung him. If that by chance didn't kill him getting slammed into a bunch of junk metal after being thrown in the air would have done the trick. Lmao
My first impression was like you are dumb man who doesn't like cartoon. But it gets funnier when i watched it until the end. To me, you really have the point to make this video. Good one man.

As a kid, I never expected these kind of shows to make sense, but it's cool to understand why they don't. I never knew that about Shirako's name ~ I could see them doing that on purpose. Gotta find some way to keep entertained working on a children's show 😂
I always felt like all of that nonsense is so silly it is part of the charm of this cartoon, but what I liked the most is the weird story and the little lore it has
Vert who didn't win a single race. Not only did he not win a race, but he only finished like 2 and a half(if you know what I mean) races without taking a ride in another car or using the E.D.R.
hey man my absolute FAVORITE childhood game from 2002 “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger” is getting a HD remake for xbox/PS4/switch (already out on PC) so you never know maybe hotwheels will pick it back up! i mean i really hope so at least lol Wild was my boy!
I mean honestly though, looking at it by the shows logic, the cars take WAY more realistic punishment than in World Race. The drivers too. I mean the first thing we see is Tesla becoming a cripple so already I think that going off the standard of the previous movies bs, Acceleracers was leagues above. Not perfect, but hey it’s a character driven kids show. And when it comes to development of characters Acceleracers slays
Will you make a video about the Hot Wheels World Race and Acceleracers cars and how they would perform realistically in real world conditions and using numerous race tracks examples being:Laguna Seca or Tsukuba or maybe even rally tracks or maybe just normal roads like maybe a mountain pass like Ura Rokko or The Wangan or maybe not from Japan like Passo Dello Stelvio of Italy (or whatever roads from America cuz I don't know much about America) and not on crazy bullshit realms or portals (also take notes from the Card games too maybe there's some extra stuff in the car's descriptions)

@@pako5586 IM HYPED ABOUT IT TOO!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Another thing driving in the lava realm should be completely avoided
@@matthew_natividad The Accelerons actually made the Realm act friendly to the drivers, these are locations they messed around with if they're not completely made by them as quite literally, the beings are a Type IV Civilization or atleast around that, maybe Type III because they're not entirely gods as we see they're still organic creatures but that wouldnt explain how they have no lips and speak telepathically or a different ethereal way which maybe they are Type IV but still organic and living.
Im stared dying when he inserted verts funeral photo god bless 😂😂😂😂
Please read this....As a huge fan of this movie growing up as a kid and now as well, it’s really good to see that there are people still talking about the series especially you going into so much detail and edits lol to get your point across so I thank you, just one question,
How did wlyde not blow up or his car not take any cosmetic damage when he got shitted on by the spikes wrecking ball in the junk realm 😂?
Np man!
It would probably barely move faster than a semi.
Nostalgia is what matters
Hope you all enjoyed the video! Please try to check out the rest of my content, as i upload every week!

WHAT DO THEY EAT? - Acceleracers Edition
Although this was a dense take on a cartoon, I definitely appreciated the comedy!
Press F for the time you took to make that funeral frame from COD
funny thing is that the cars in the start of speed of silence explodes almost instantly whenever it get’s bumped or flipped

I don't know much about cars, but I loved acceleracers. I vote on tearing apart more racing movings, this is top tier content.
Planning on doing a fast and furious one soon!
The hot wheels cars weight like 200g so it doesn't matter what suspension is installed
Remember when Kids Shows & Movies weren't Shit? Highway 35 & Acceleracers are still so good.
its funny that concepts of future cars kinda looks like from those movies , godd vid
5:30 I did not need to know that.
Theres a scence in ignition were tork changes his engine
So that engine replica is technically tezlas work

😆 my childhood
Maybe the drivers used the parts that dr.tesla supplied them with which makes the vehicles like the ones in the world race off screen
Great movies, whether they make sense or not! Lol! 😄 You loved them growing up! Me too! 🌞
There are some cars that could reach 300+mph in their last gear, such cars include:
The 2013-2019 Ford Shelby GT500, with a differential ratio of 3.31 and 6th gear ratio of 0.5, as well as 285/35R20 rear tires, it can reach 350 mph in 6th gear at 7000 rpm redline.
The slow realization of figuring out that the vehicles weren't just automatics.
This is awesome! Keep up the good work! By the way, maybe make a video about the good things in Acceleracers? It would be great! But I do not insist) Watch the analysis of nonsense is pretty cool)
Normally i thrive off of negativity, but id be open to it!
There's a reason why we could not stop watching! They were very good, exciting movies!
3 months later: hotwheels logic. *sips tea* looks cool though.
Am I really watching a video breaking down the "realism" of a cartoon movie made for kids ? Well yes and I'm loving it although it's pointless xD
Yeah I think the horsepower numbers is a no brainer not to even bother touching lol. Great video man i found this very funny.
Hey thanks man!
@@spoilerz9795 Id imagine that is possible to that. like modifying some parts to a degree where that can happen
@@unbalencedspirit4937 it would take some extreme weight reduction. Like cars in the triple digit weight pounds wise. Also some extreme gear ratios in the transmission and/or differential, which would then add more weight and then come back to square one of the car being too heavy. While it may be possible, i don't believe we have the technology to do so
@@spoilerz9795 I was more talking about the engine and the parts that make up said engine
@@unbalencedspirit4937 True, but those are all components that make up the powertrain of a vehicle and are the deciding factor for the speed of a vehicle. And you can only take engine modification so far until you need to sacrifice weight for durability and such. I'm not saying it's IMPOSSIBLE, I'm just saying it's impossible with our CURRENT technology and understanding of the world.
acceleracers: great story, bad detail, for a movie to promote hotwheels, a toy car, its good.
Cheese.

also the pressure of the water realm, comparing the fishes to real life ones makes the water realm at least 3000 mts below the sea level. once they enter the pressure would instantly implode the entire car and leave nothing but scrap metal and a bloody pulp
*dude doing a reality check on cars that race in alternate dimensions against advanced - yet-dumb drones built to race *
Kadeem came back as a cyborg and Kert is also an alien.
no, Kurt is not a alien🫤
Not sure if I said this and my comment was deleted as I deleted my account for a bit but about the bizarre air physics of the Water and Cosmic Realm, it's pretty clear the Accelerons made sure it's friendly to the drivers and vehicles so for example, there is actual air in both Realms.
''the drivers built their cars''
meanwhile in acceleracers:
*S P I N E B U S T E R _ I S _ M Y _ C A R*
What you expect? It's for kids, it's not supposed to be realistic, but interesting for kids... And yeah I know, watching this movie as a car guy hurts. I feel you man...
I just assumed Shirako was a play on words referring to the Volkswagen Scirocco
I think it WAS but they didn't think about how they spelled it at ALL
Dam what a dedication lol, all think is like legos lol.
These movies and Initial D got me into cars. I liked this video, even though it shits on my childhood.
Honestly same here I loved these movies and still do! I watched them all again like a couple weeks ago😂. I just like to rip apart movies, especially with car physics
5:27.... You ruined me.... you ruined MEEEE!!!!!!!!! XD I wish i never knew that fact DANG IT XD!
Thanks man! And hoooo, thats a tough one. Id say It's a 3 way tie between the Deora II, The 70 Roadrunner, and synkro!
Mine is either Nitrium or Bassline
LMFAO! 4:33
Didn't they also show tork switching out his engine block in Ignition
I actually didn't consider that about the junk parts (I assumed the fact that Dr Tezla claimed in one if the bonus features that said the Metal Maniacs cars were built out of junk parts yet were somehow faster than most commercial jets to be ludicrous)
I also still question just how Vert was able to catch up to Gelorum in the Cliffside Realm by just jumping 400 feet off the track and landing just fine. Lmao
@@DaimosZ oof now im wondering why i didnt bring up that scene😂 if he just used the jump jets at the end, itd be more believable
@@spoilerz9795 true that. Lol
Really awesome video dude, I'm glad someone is still talking about that series. And coming from an old-school Hotwheels fan and a car fan this video was just perfect for me hahaha, also you're funny and nice to listen to my man, fresh to see this.
Thanks man! Needed to hear that, especially cause viewership been going down a bit😁
Dude i was thinking about acceleracers and then boom yt recommended me this video
Just wait until tomorrow😂
As a kid, I never expected these kind of shows to make sense, but it's cool to understand why they don't. I never knew that about Shirako's name ~ I could see them doing that on purpose. Gotta find some way to keep entertained working on a children's show 😂
I always felt like all of that nonsense is so silly it is part of the charm of this cartoon, but what I liked the most is the weird story and the little lore it has
We're not getting another movie... But we need one! BECAUSE CLIFFHANGERS AND LOOSE ENDS!
it's a cartoon, it don't gotta make sense. still love the realistic approach to it though, made me learn about cars more
Vert who didn't win a single race. Not only did he not win a race, but he only finished like 2 and a half(if you know what I mean) races without taking a ride in another car or using the E.D.R.
I know it makes no sense but I still love it😂😂even until this day
hey man my absolute FAVORITE childhood game from 2002 “Ty the Tasmanian Tiger” is getting a HD remake for xbox/PS4/switch (already out on PC) so you never know maybe hotwheels will pick it back up! i mean i really hope so at least lol Wild was my boy!
I didn't think that skeet would be a drivers name......
Up until now!
