I had to make my own breakfast and lunch growing up, my mom/dad both worked full time jobs so that was the reasoning🤷🏻♀️ I started watching RUclips when I discovered the lunch videos and got hooked on them, I’m 62yrs old and envious of kids who have these amazing lunches packed by their parents bc I didn’t have that growing up, isn’t that stupid😝

Most people had/have full time working Parents. I’m just glad there was food in the fridge to be able to make a sandwich with. I’m thankful
My Mom always packed our lunches and she was a single Mom and worked full time. She was the best.

flat and slimy but you put the next one in the same place without cleaning the cookie sheet😒! Alyssa if your going to make all of your meals for the day at 5:10 in the morning do it in reverse! Dinner which takes the longest prep lunch and breakfast last so IT WILL be FRESH and hot when the kids wake up

❤️Use the crescent dough sheets for your breakfast pizza crust. SO much better than regular pizza crust for that! They make them in sheets not pre cut into crescent rolls so it works great!

@DoughertyDozen yes, it's Pillsbury and it's usually by the regular crescent roll tube's. It's just a whole sheet instead of having the pre-cuts in it. SO good for breakfast pizza 🍕

@DoughertyDozen we also like to use country gravy on ours for the sauce. So good and makes it more like breakfast.

Good morning. I haven't even decided what I want for breakfast yet and here you are over there making breakfast and lunch and you're already dressed for the day. Motivation and coffee for the week week win.
After a certain age, maybe 7?, I was in charge of my own breakfast and lunch. I was a picky eater so it was best that way, even though it was required. There was no cafeteria at my schools, just milk but my parents wouldn’t subscribe us to that extra expense. I didn’t mind. Didn’t trust it’s freshness anyway. I was 5th of 6. My mom was drowning! 😂
How does it possibly taste good with either beef or chicken or Turkey?Gravy, doesn't the Recipe called for country style gravy like you Would use if you were making sausage gravy over biscuits????
It calls for sausage gravy which sounds way better.
I had a very traditional, conservative upbringing. My mom did work throughout my childhood but we also lived across the street from my grandparents and that is where we went in the mornings to wait for the bus when mom and dad left for work. My granny made breakfast of some kind every single morning and packed lunches.. not just for me and my brother but also for her 3 kids still at home and my grandfather.
It was not her duty or job but her way of caring for her family and she wouldn't have it any other way.
I can remember my granny frying hamburgers for oacked lunches and steak and egg sandwiches for breakfast. It is just the way some women are. They cook for their tribe and theres nothing wrong with that.
My son is 29, hes married and has 2 kids with 1 on the way and I will absolutely still make his sandwiches when he's visiting and i make him a cup of coffee. He doesnt expect it or act like a brat from me doing it, he hugs me and says, "thank you momma, you still make the best sandwhiches ever"..
My daughter will be 13 in june and I not only cook for her and make her lunch but I also still make her plate. You know what she does in return, takes my empty plate to the kitchen for me after dinner.
I personally don't like people in the kitchen making messes. Everyone from my kids, grandkids and husband seem to have a need to use every single dish when making something... 🤔🙄
Making lunches or breakfast for your family and/or packimg them lunches doesn't turn them into grown-ups that can't take care of themselves... the moral upbringing or lack thereof does..
I grew up in a small town and most of the time my mom made my lunch. A lot of the time l actually walked home and had lunch there...which really dates me 😊😊

When I make breakfast pizza I just spread out the dough scramble 4 eggs and a little milk to your eggs, pour over your dough, spread your cheese, add cooked Jimmy Dean sausage and what ever else you want on your breakfast pizzas I like onions a d green peppers but children would be happy with just the sausage put in oven for 25 minutes at 350

you should try that breakfast pizza with country gravy! You can use the packet! that would be easy and yummy!!
My mum was an amazing cook she did all the cooker apart from Christmas Day when dad would lend a hand !! I’m one of five :) Saturday afternoon our kitchen was always out of bounds as that’s when mum did most of her baking for the week… really miss mum ! Love you videos very much ❤
My mom would alternate weeks of making my sister and I lunches. One week we'll make our own and the next week she'll make us lunches. Sometimes she would give us money for lunch on Fridays that was a extra special treat for us.

I grew up with having my lunch made until I complained one too many times about the mystery meat Monday sandwiches. (which were usually ground roast beef with relish mixed in, I was sure they were liver and wouldn’t eat them) My mother finally told me I could make my own which were two pieces of bread with a slice of bologne. I ate this type of sandwich for years. Lol

We like Wegmans Brand albacore the best. You’re probably buying tuna stored in oil, look for the kind in water.

Alicia , I don't take chance on any food, if I feel something not good about it, I'll throw it away.
I had food poisoning over 20 years ago, at a restaurant , it was my last time, I ever ate there .
The only Olive Oil , I will buy at Costco's *100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil* ( it's in a dark "black" bottle ).
Have to check those bottles closely , because there's another Olive Oil , that looks close to each other .
And it's Organic. So much healthier !!!
You are right about Blackstone grills , they have to be Oiled , we were looking into it , but my spouse wanted
an Oklahoma grill ( it does to ways if grill ) coals and wood or something like that . It has 2 lids on it .
Ooh that grill sounds so cool I haven’t heard of it! And yeah I hate throwing out food but it just seemed ‘off’.

My Mom made my breakfast until I decided to no longer carry one from home. I made my son's breakfast every day, grade K through 12. Yes, he was capable of.doing it himself, but I didn't mind. I loved putting little surprise treats in his lunch once in a while. ❤

I just was too skeptical of it it wasn’t worth it. 😬 Breakfast pizza is one of my favorites and I didn’t want to risk ruining half of it with rotten dough lol.

I drain my tuna then add water to the can, stir, drain then wash one mor time. I also add a little sugar to my tuna salad. Takes away the fishy taste.
