You have a tendency to get off tempo a lot. Have you practiced much with a metronome? It's a tough habit to break, but playing with a metronome and not allowing yourself any mistakes will really help you lock in time. There's a few riffs you're playing incorrectly, too... and the strange delay or chorus effect or whatever it is you're using doesn't help. It really makes those mistakes stand out like a sore thumb. Now... having said that, you're doing a great job. Most guitarists never make it to a level where they could do a playthrough of any Dream Theater song, let alone this one. I just thought I'd offer a few constructive criticisms. I learned this song (dear lord this is going to make me feel old) almost 25 years ago. And I remember it feeling like such an accomplishment when I first nailed the solo. You're doing a great job, and I'm sure you've come even further in the last few years since posting this. Keep up the good work!
I was looking for the solo so i was jumping forward but spotted many clear mistakes on the notes that can clearly be heard since you got the song in the back. You play good but you got some notes just wrong, here and there.
